They work perfectly and the price was great. They are exactly 15/16" in diameter as described and look exactly as they do in the picture. The color is great for use on my wood chairs. They are not going to be as quiet on my hardwood floor as the self adhesive pads but they will stay on the chair forever, unlike the self adhesive pads which will eventually come off. They do not scratch the floor. They are easy to install as no pre-drilling is needed. Just make sure you hammer them in straight or else they could bend.

These almost work too well. The chairs and table I used these on slide effortlessly on laminate, to the point that leaning against the table in the least causes it to slide and if you're not expecting it, sitting down can do the same. My floor, however, is looking great without the scuffs my chairs were constantly causing with the stick-on felt pads.3/31/2016 - After using these for quite a while now, they show no signs of deterioration and still work fantastically. We recently got a new dining room set and immediately ordered another set to put on that set.

Arrived early (Prime!). Installed to replace some old worn chair glides. Amazingly good! Chairs slide nicely and quietly on wood laminate flooring. Mounting screws could be a little larger but by using a bit of glue (Goop) in the existing hole everything worked out just fine. We'll see how long they last. I have a six dining room chairs that also need new glides. Will more than likely use these! Thanks for a good product.Update: re-ordered as this product was so good. Order was in my hands within 24 hours. Again, KUDOS to the vendor. I will definitely buy from them again! They also have a lot of hard to find cabinet hardware. A wonderful find on Amazon!

These slider glides worked perfectly. They were easy to install, and made moving a large coffee table around on a rug easy to do. Note: I did drill a tiny pilot hole into each leg to make installation easy and to ensure that the leg didn't split when these were installed. I would buy these again.

I have just installed 40 of these on ten chairs in our dining room. They seem very sturdy, and drilling a small pilot hole resulted in easy and secure installation. They glide very nicely on the carpet. Delivery was exceedingly prompt, and they came in a sturdy, well-designed little box.

Put these on kitchen chairs on tile floor 2 months ago. Hardly any wear. Chairs already had holes from prior slides and these would not stay in. Filled holes with plastic wood and had to pretrial new holes to secure these to the bottom of the chairs.

These are fine glides for carpet and hard tile floors but I would not recommend them for hardwood. They work great on my ceramic tile kitchen floor and fair on carpet. My chair legs are larger than the glides so they catch on carpet when you try to slide them. A 1.5 inch glide would probably work better. Stick with felt pads to prevent scratching on hardwood.
