Drawing Fantastic Furries: The Ultimate Guide to Drawing Anthropomrphic Charaacters Kindle Edition

I thought this book might be fun for my high-school art students, but it turns out that Furries are some sort of fetish, and I am often ridiculed for owning it. Many of the images are disturbingly provocative, in all the wrong ways. We draw copies of classical nudes with no issues, but buxom, bikini-clad kangaroos seem to be major triggers.

There's a lot of useful information in here. It will help to improve your anatomy a bit as well as to practice some dynamics but personally I think that this book isn't a good starter for anyone interested in making anthro art. Maybe a further along beginner. It doen't walk you through a lot of the smaller and important techniques and steps.

They walk through step by step how to draw, and even though I do 3D and not 2D it's still a wonderful addition to my collection!! If you want to learn to draw furries than this book is for you. It is very funny that I see people with icons that are literally traced out of this book. If not than they followed the step by step to drawing the heads. It is very funny. But I really love this book and it has taught me a lot in terms of placement of parts and other things as well. All in all it is a well rounded book and very good for beginners.

Some Furry art books are a lot more polished, but this one goes well under the hood. Giving in depth structure of the feet / paws and the planning out of Digi grade legs. Something most other how to draw furry art books don't cover well.

I had pretty low expectations for this book, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually very informative and had easy to follow instructions and really explained a lot about furries rather than just how to draw them. My only complaint is it doesn't cover full figure drawing as much as I would have liked, however, this is dismissible due to all the other areas it covers. So if you're looking to start drawing furries I would highly recommend this book as a first step but you might want to consider another later on for more advanced concepts.

Really good book that could be used as an intro to the furry world. And anthropomorphic furrys. With step by step drawing help and explanations. Totall of 144 pages.

I adore this book and I've been using it quite religiously when creating new characters to draw. It is very thorough and easy to understand and has brought up a few points that I had not considered before. It is very helpful with proportions and facial features of varying furries but perhaps could have gone into costumes a bit more.

Dieses Buch behandelt zwar auch die wichtigsten Grundlagen, jedoch passen die Lektionen nicht wirklich zu meinem Zeichenstil.Interessant ist, dass die Kapitelunterteilung nicht spezies- sondern themenorientiert ist (magisch, okkult, Familie etc.). Es ist durchaus inspirativ und ich kann einen Blick in das Kapitel zum Thema Kleidung wärmstens empfehlen.Dieses Buch ist besonders gut für Leute geeignet, die nach Inspirationsquellen zu verschiedenen Fantasy-Themen oder allgemein zu anthropomorphen Tieren suchen. Einem kompletten Anfänger würde ich es eher als inspirierendes Begleitbuch, statt als Lehrbuch empfehlen.
