This product is easy to install. However the metal locking latch and the metal plate that it locks under needs to be readjusted as the latches don’t hold when locked

The product looks nice but that is all. They do not lock as advertised. They are merely a visual deterrent.

ive had these for a quick minute and honestly they are really good hood latches. My only problem is that one side doesnt stay locked after a drive

The hood lock was installed on my Jeep JL 2019 sport s vehicle. It looks great and is quite sturdy. However, it takes a gentle touch to insert the key and rotate it for locking and unlocking. Too much pressure and I am sure it will break. So, if you do not plan on opening your hood frequently, then it's fine and I highly recommend it.

They look great on my 2019 Jeep JL but they needed to be modified slightly to fit correctly

While they were easy to install, the locking mechanism wouldn’t engage and lock. Tried multiple times and still nothing. Will be returning these and trying to find something that actually works.

I installed this hood latch on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport JL and it was so easy, all I did was took off the factory hood latch and put on the new ones, it took me like 15 to 20 minutes to do both sides they look so awesome that I will highly recommend them to all of RICK DAVENPORT AUTO SALES customers that has or who are buying a Jeep. This product completely failed to meet expectations. The locking bracket came upside down from the shipper. I repositioned and installed both sides. These “locks” do not secure the latch closed. They can be easily opened while “locked”(with one finger).
