Pros - This mill does exactly what it is supposed to do.Construction of it is fine, it is sturdy enough to do the job and keep you relatively safe from the chain.I got what I wanted and am completely satisfied with it.But there are several reasons I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5...read on..Cons - the manual is simplistic, insufficient and inaccurate.If you aren't already familiar with chainsaw mills or at least power tools, then trying to put this thing together could result in you being seriously injured when trying to use it.This did not apply to me but, still, the fact that this had to be the worst manual in history for a potentially deadly dangerous tool rates at least one star off.If you are not familiar with similar items I would recommend being cautious with this purchase - it could literally get you maimed or killed.But...For my own use?Heck, I have been cutting wood for 40 years.For my use, it is Great.I like it.I would purchase another if needed.

Thought I would save some money by purchasing the Carmyra Portable Chainsaw Mill vs the Granberg.However the mill is NOT square when attached to the saw. I had to do some filing and add shims. Even with my attempted adjustments, it was no where near square. In it's current state of condition, it would take a lot of trial and work to make the mill cut square. In addition, the cut depth measurements are nowhere near accurate.I wanted to like this mill. I saw others reviews and though surely the company has fixed the issues by now. Not so.Very dissatisfied and I can not recommend unless the manufacturer remedies the defects.
