Absolute Bargain
Was stuck for a bedside table in a cramped university room- this does the trick, and at just over a tenner you can't go wrong. It looks smart and provides handy extra storage space.Construction is surprisingly sturdy given the modest price and assembly was easy with just a Phillips-head screwdriver needed. It even comes with little white sticker dots to cover the screws heads.Very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate if buying again.

Cheap item that gets the job done!
The delivery was prompt. The item itself is alright. The pieces of wood are a bit thin and once constructed it does not fit bigger sized books. The undersides of the shelves are not covered in paint, however, I believe that is due to cost reduction. It was fairly easy to assemble and seems to be sturdy when finished. Overall, as the header says, it gets the job done and it does not burn a hole into your pocket.

Beware
The actual material is great for the price BUT a word of warning - be very careful if you want to put the back panel on. The unit is fine without it but I put it on and the sides are all split with the nails supplied which are far too big for the thickness of the board. Will no doubt find a use for it in the garage.Moral - you only get what you pay for!

Poor Feedback from the Seller
I was pleased with this item. However, "self-assembly" was disappointing - there was no "tongue and groove" to insert the Back Panel - that would have involved a "drill", or at least an Expert. But, as I had a project in mind I did not actually need the Back Panel. That said the main reason for only 2 Stars is the "Tracking Information" was both pathetic and incorrect. It was never updated. I have contacted the Seller three times about this issue, and have never had a satisfactory - in fact - no explanation. Very shoddy indeed!

Will drive you crazy
In my opinion I was surprised that Amazon Quality control work and now I can only call absolute rubbish to be sold on this site. For my own fault I only needed one but ordered two by mistake the first one half the screws were missing holes drilled in the wrong place Nothing would fit I in packed the second one exactly the same holes drilled in the wrong place nothing would lineup took some of the screws from the second one there wasn’t enough screws in that either and all the holes were drilled in the wrong place and nothing would lineup in that one either and with the two I managed to make one Serviceable one.I just could not be bothered with the hassle of sending pieces back.If all the ones that are for sale on the site are the same as what I’ve experienced I certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone buying them

Am happy but..
This product is for my baby’s nursery. It’s sturdy, Easy to put up, however some parts were panged and dented as pictured. If I didn’t need it urgently I would have sent it back for a new one.I left the back cover off as I want electrical items on shelves with the wires going out back, even without the back board it is super sturdy. I will prob order again though

Okay for the price
Given how cheap this was, I didn't really expect any special quality. With this shelf, you definitely get what you pay for.The "antique oak" pattern is rather ugly, with lots of lighter streaks that make it look cheap (see the photo), and it gets damaged on the corners easily.Wooden dowels supplied with the shelf are terrible, too thin for the holes and smooth, without any groves on them, so I replaced them with properly sized dowels and added some wood glue to be on the safe side. Once the shelf was assembled like that, it looked half decent. It's definitely not something I'd put in a living room or any visible place, but it's more than suitable for a workshop. Not sure about other colours, but this so-called oak effect just looks cheap and fake.

You get what you paid for...
Well... got what you paid for. For the money that you pay for it, it is good and it serves its purpose. For as long as you do not weigh in down with very heavy stuff, it can probably last a long time. It is made of very cheap material but as I have said, you get what you paid for. We only use ours to hold a few bottles of scents and a few ornaments, nothing heavy. The assembly guide that came with it was not very detailed and left a lot at the builder’s discretion. My big issue with the product was the diameter of the nails that came with it to secure the back panel... they are way too big for the side panels to take that they can actually dent the side panels when you hammer them in.
