This was a surprise gift for my sister. She is quite obsessed with Beauty and The Beast (as well as anything involving a princess to be honest) I wish I had a picture of her face when she opened it because she was literally over the moon!THE PACKAGINGWhoever designed this has quite clearly taken into account the whole presentation of the rose itself. To start off with the box is a glossy, charcoal grey, solid cardboard design - it looks exquisite! It arrives tied up with a black ribbon that has the writing “Just for you” printed throughout and even that alone when you first set eyes upon it looks very posh and shows this is not cheap. To open it you untie the ribbon and lift the top half of the box up which glides off nice and easy to reveal the rose itself. For those of you concerned about whether there is a possibility that the rose may arrive damaged well don’t worry because it is practically impossible as the inside of the box is filled with a luxurious Styrofoam covered in black felt that practically ensures the rose or glass dome cannot move at all. It really has been delightfully put together.THE REVIEW:I've seen various other cheaper versions of this Forever Rose online however the reviews seem to be very negative and some even state that it is fake, So I was a tad concerned when purchasing this one encase I was left disappointed and still in need of buying my sister a present. However now I’ve seen it with my own eyes I can confirm that it is not fake– it’s a genuine rose and it does look incredible.I don’t know how they have done this but the rose itself has been captured at its best. It looks so rich and vibrant, is in full bloom and to me it honestly looks like it has been frozen in time. Words honestly do not do this justice with how graceful this looks. When I showed my wife before giving it to my sister even she herself was shocked with how incredibly beautiful it is. It also looks very stylish too, like a piece of well preserved art. I’ve seen it already in my sisers house and let me tell you it’s an eye catcher and when people see it, they themselves seem quite amazed by how this rose has managed to be captured and placed into a beautiful glass dome. The bottom base is made of solid, deep black wood which the rose itself rests upon. Around where the base of the rose sits are a few fallen petals which I presume is to hide the rose sticking into the wood itself but this doesn’t take anything away from how good it looks – it adds to it. I suppose the best way to describe it is imagine when you see the perfect picture of a perfect rose but having the ability to place it in your own home surrounded by a beautifully crafted glass dome! I’ve got to admit you can’t stop looking at it too. It’s strange because it is just a rose which I’m sure we have all seen many times before but because of its sheer simplicity and stylish elegance, you can’t help but to peer closely at it!Although slightly smaller than expected, (I don’t know why but I thought it would be about 12inches high!) this does not take anything away from the sheer quality that this rose brings. Its actual size is around 9 inches including the base and dome. My sister first placed it on her dining room table but unfortunately her children wanted to play with it so she has moved it up stairs now. Although you can place it anywhere my advice is to make sure that no one physically attempts to pick it up as the glass dome itself is not stuck down.OVERALL:Its bold, its stunning, its elegant, its smart, it’s just quite literally astounding. Any fan of Beauty and The Beast will fall in love with this the moment they see it but even if you just wish to give it to someone as a token of love or thoughtful gift then once again they will not be disappointed. It adds an element of class to any room but most importantly it’s a symbol of love, passion (and of cause Beauty and The Beast) breathtakingly and beautifully captured!I’ve wrote this review to hopefully help others who may be concerned about what they are actually buying. Absolutely perfect gift! Girlfriend absolutely loved this for our anniversary. The rose is stunning, the base and dome are really good quality and the box it came in i didn't even need to wrap, the whole product is perfect!

For £80 the quality is just not there. A leaf looking like it has been chewed and others looking like theh are wilted. No protection to the main box so all the corners are frayed and warn.

Came in the mail yesterday. Amazon doesn’t show it as delivered yet.I got this for my Beuty and the Beast obsessed 6 year old daughter. She loved it!Packing as ridiculously good. Heavily padded and wrapped with thick plastic. The glas dome was wrapped to the base. It showed up in perfect condition.Size is bigger than I expected (see photos). Full size beautiful rose.The rose itself is real as expected from the description. The rose has he’s it’s smell and smells wonderful!Overall, this is something she will keep as she grows up and hopefully passes down to her daughter.One note: this is not to be played with, it is fragile.
