Got this for my husband as he had to travel with his snare drum and needed something to protect it - this was perfect!

This case protects your drum. It could use more padding.

Good case. It doesn't come with padding pre-installed but you can run down and get some carpet padding. Great for the price!

The case was bigger than what i expected. The foam that it comes with are thin strips on the lid and bottom of the case which do not protect or hold the bass drum from moving around. I don't reccomend...

i loved the case especially since it has wheels it makes things so much easier

The case is a little too tall (about 1/2 inch), so the foam on the lid does not hold the drum and it wiggles around inside the case. My drum shell is 16x14, and 14.75" tall with the rims. The case is 15" from the uncompressed foam to the top. The edges of the lid are made in such a way, that the lid foam will not go lower than the bottom lip, so the lid foam won't touch unless the drum is taller than the case. I could cut it down myself, but that sounds like a hassle. And I got another case (8x8) that is 1/2 short in both directions, which is even worse. The idea and the materials are good, but the measurements are bad, so I cannot recommend these cases.
