Ok, Here's the deal...The product arrived on time and in good condition. And...from the tests I performed, it works as described by the seller; which is why I gave it four stars. That said, the directions are somewhat confusing, at least for me. I figured the functions out despite this, and as I said, the functions work and appear to be satisfactorily accurate for my purposes. Keep in mind the price point here...there are more elaborate and more expensive units out there. I would have liked a more solidly built and slightly larger display screen just because there are a lot of digital readings crammed onto one screen making it a bit busy to the eye...but it works. There you have it.

The description says "JIMEI Atomic Wireless Weather Station", but there's nothing Atomic about it. You have to manually set the time and date. It doesn't sync with the Atomic Clock in Boulder, CO. The 'color' display is just color filters over a plain white LCD. They do help highlight different data, but it's not a true color display. The outside sensor seems to be working, which is something the Acu-Rite unit it replaced couldn't say, but I really wanted the Atomic Clock. If you look at the display in the right light, you can see a satellite icon, so the display is able to support an Atomic clock, but this unit doesn't have one. Pretty much a misleading description.

Advertised as an atomic clock and presented as such on Amazon.com. However, on examining the clock, I found no evidence of radio reception from the Fort Collins or any other timeserver. Moreover, the instruction booklet that came with the clock, which seems very thorough and understandable, makes no mention of atomic features. I concluded that this is NOT an atomic clock, and returned it. Amazon should not allow this item to be listed as an atomic clock, although it seems to be a nice clock with weather station features.

Cool product, have indoor and outdoor details in the same gadget. All in one product, alarm, weather , temperature and humidity, Calendar;Luminous function. you named it and they have manged to fit it inside two catogories in indoor and outdoor.

Gift for all the guys at Christmas...they loved it!

Very poor range and stopped working altogether after 7 months

I was really excited to get this to have in my bathroom while getting ready in the morning. It wasn't particularly hard to set up. A few reviewers mentioned that the screen only lit up when they pressed the snooze button. I realized that this is true when you are operating off the batteries only. If you plug into the wall, the back light will stay on continuously.Overall, I like that it displays the indoor vs. outdoor temperatures (and you can program it for C vs F), but the weather settings are a little vague and the screen is a bit busy making it a little difficult to read. It does the job but I'm not overly excited about it.

So this little device really comes in handy while you decide what to wear. It's easy to read from far away and setup is quite easy. Each piece takes 2x AAA batteries and can stand on their own or be mounted to a wall. I vacuum sealed the outside receiver and hung it from a tree with perfect results.
