I love this bag because the straps are long enough that they don’t slip off the shoulder, but short enough that the dog is at the side of your trunk for easy snuggly carrying. It also works if my husband want to just carry it like a suitcase hanging from his hand. The inside strap is great for safety. The outside pockets are handy and the inside strap is nice. I got the small size. My Yorkie is 10.5 inches tall and that is the tallest dog that could fit this size. It is perfect for her because she likes to stand. The bag is soft which make is it where the dog has to stand still while you zip it, but the softness is good because you have more ease of holding the dog close in a store or a crowd if you want. It is made of heavy canvas and I would put a tiny fleece inside if we would be outside for a long time. I love that is is so lightweight but heavy duty at the same time. The bottom is 1/2” thick pretty hard material that is sturdy and does not bend, but has just enough give for comfort. I ordered dark gray but they shipped the natural color instead.

Highly recommend this carrier if your dog is under 15 lbs! A bigger dog would not be comfortable in this and the bag would be too heavy to carry. My 10 lb mini dachshund has a long body and short legs, so he gets tired if we're walking too far and this carrier is the perfect size for him. We like to bring him on road trips with us, so we'll put him in there when we know we'll be walking and/or exploring all day, as he likes to be near us at all times. It has enough space to throw a light blanket in there, and I love using the side pockets for treats or even my own phone & wallet! The bag is very chic and we always get compliments on it, people think it's a regular tote until they see his little head pop out, and they are pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth it for smaller pups!!

I ordered two dog carriers to test which one my dog would prefer. The DEXDOG bag and a roller suitcase type dog carrier. My dog and I loved the DEXDOG carrier much better. Allows your dog to be next to you and see what you're seeing. He did not like being pulled around and detached from me. I used the DEXDOG in LAX airport and on the plane. He remained calm and it decreased my stress knowing he was secure and cozy in this bag. I highly recommend.

The very first time that I used this, it broke! It broke immediately! The hook/clasp that attaches to the dogs collar just snapped right off immediately when my small chihuahua jerked his head. What a disappointment. The canvas material is very sturdy and looks nice, but don't expect it to work well if you are latching your animal in. CHEAP

Love the simplicity of design with this bag. Neutral colour, streamlined- so not bulky, and my shih-poo loves it!

Wont stand up on its own the sides just flop in. For the price its not worth it at all. and no free returns.
