Ghett'a Life

This is a solid film. The characters/acting, storyline, and dialogue are all believable. The plot was particularly interesting because there was far more at stake than just a boxing match win. The film has a lot of conflict, "us against them" themes, and it was all very informative about how politics impacts the community. There's a beautiful show of unity too. I was definitely rooting for the good guy and loved to hate the villian. Great acting! My favorite line was "don't look for revenge, it just happens." ...So don't look for another movie, just watch this one :)

Outstanding piece about a young man fighting his way out of a political situation. It's got Jamaican pride, boxing excitement, dramatic flair and a lot of style. The acting is superb, the plot unfolds in an exciting way, it is very engaging. From the beginning to the end you will find yourself highly interested, waiting to see what comes next. It's a small film with a big heart.

the acting was not the best. B rated movie but the story line was very good. I watched "once upon a time in Hollywood" and I enjoyed this movie a lot more. I want to say only Jamaicans would understand. well done Jamaicans. keep moving forward.

Violence galore but a thought provoking social commentary with an uplifting message. 'Sin' joins the cast of memorable villains Browne continues to conjure up (See also 'Third World Cop' by the same director). With decent performances from a mostly young cast, this film also has a nice sound track that lends to the excitement. The locations were well chosen with the contrast between town and country being nicely highlighted. The DVD also features a sparse 'behind the scenes/making of' featurette which hints at the challenges indie film-makers face outside of the U.S.A.

I bought this dvd after reading the reviews on it. It was sold to me straight away. When the film arrived I did not watch it immediately. But when I did eventually sit down to watch the dvd, I have to say that I really enjoyed it. It is a very good film and worthwhile watching. You will not be disappointed

Great movie! I bought this for my grandad for Christmas and we have watched it twice already. It's a nice storyline and my grandad loved telling me he knew what parts of Jamaica featured in the film. The soundtrack was great too.
