They were as described
They worked much better the ones from Harley. They deflect more hot air off of you.

Not bad
They do look nice on my '09 Softail Deluxe and they are reasonably priced.I gave it 4 stars because it came with no instructions. However, there were some on the Amazon product page when I ordered them. I also read quite a few reviews on how to install but still ran into some issues. The main one being, when I was finished installing (or so I thought) the seat wouldn't sit flush. The bottom part of the seat was resting on the brackets, which was causing the tongue of the seat to pop out. So I had to bend the brackets downward a few times until the seat would sit flush. (trial and error)Also, the heat factor is reduced but not as much as you'd expect. The best way I can describe it is, while sitting at a light on a 90 degree day, my leg doesn't feel like it's on fire anymore. Now it's just pretty hot.

Very good heat shields
Bought these heat shields for my heritage softail very happy with them so far. The hardest part was figuring out which bolts to attach the bracket to. No directions with the product so it was just figure it out yourself. Once the bracket was attached to the correct bolts it fit perfectly. It helps with deflecting the heat off your legs. I will update this after some use to see how well they hold up.

NOT BLACK
Everything was great , they looked Black until I put them on a Black Harley . They look Blue . But what would you expect for $18 bucks . My BAD .

Keeps the favorite body part cool.
A little hard to get used to, seem to rub them everytime I get on the bike. Very nice fit, good lines, match the lines of the bike.Sadly now after only 2 months they are broke. So tired of buying crap that breaks or does not work

Great product
Great product, easy to install on a 08 Heritage. Make sure to install the brackets to the heat shields first before you install them to the frame of the motorcycle.

Nice but had to loosen tanks...
Fit well in my 2007 Heritage Softail Classic. We did have to remove lower tank bolt and loosen top front bolt to install this metal bracket. It's a very secure mount. It wasn't that hard to do.

The boys are comfortable.
An absolute lifesaver if you get stuck in traffic. No instructions but pretty easy to figure out.
