Grypmat Multi-Purpose Portable Tool Tray and Surface Protector (Trio Pack)

I'm now into buying my 3rd set due to other family members linking them so much, that I lose positive control and they become someone else.My first large mat in now dedicated to the building of LEGO projects, which it's fantastic for. Sub assemblies or the mini figs can easily be kept in the end wells and the high sides and energy absorption of the mat minimize the loss of small parts when little hands drop them.For my use cases, motorcycle work, all sizes work excellently. The large usually remains on the bench to hold tools, or larger parts, as it's got too big a footprint to generally rest on the bike during work.But, that's where the medium comes in. For motos, the medium is a perfect size to place on a seat or tail to collect those fasteners, small part or tools you need to keep to hand while working on specific task.The small, I don't use as much as the other sizes, but it's still handy. It's good for organizing small parts or in a portable tool box. One small lives in the toolbox I take with me to the track/help out buddies. It's great to have a lightweight item to store small parts in while working out in some paddock area, as opposed to just setting them on the black top, or a shop towel. And as mentioned, the light doesn't weight much, so you're not adding too much mass to what might be a heavy tool box (think mines ~35 pounds) already.The mats are easy to clean up. I use Marine Clean as my cleaner of choice. Spray down, let soak a bit, wipe off and give a rise if you want to be extra thorough. I've had my oldest mats for a couple years (I was a kickstarter backer) and they still look new after a good cleaning.

I bought all three sizes. I used all three several times. They are great when you are breaking something down and you want to keep track of everything. Especially the small parts. I haven't used under the hood of a car or truck so I don't know how well it grips but with three sizes one should pretty well. It's kind of expensive but it's pretty thick and seems well made. I thinkit will hold up for quite a while. All in all I'm happy with it and have found it pretty useful.

I really like this product. I use these at work as a autobody tech, they work great when tearing cars down as they stay put.I used to use small plastic buckets for this but they would slide around and spill my bolts and clips out all over. Now i will empty the Grip Mat into the buckets after tearing down and waiting for reassembly then i dump it into the large mat as it has lots of room to seperate out the bolts and clips during reassembly. I wondered at first if I needed all three sizes but for work I'm glad to have all sizes. 10 out of 10 for me

This is my second set so I’d have a set available on the go for working at a junkyard so I can keep my tools and bolts accountable and not scattered throughout an engine bay

These are awesome for anyone doing mechanic work. I got them for my husband for Christmas and as soon as he opened them he took them to his shop and put them in place to use the very next day to work on his pickup. He loves them. I then stole one of the smaller ones to use when I replaced my Jeep battery and it was perfect to hold everything I needed. We both Love them and recommend to anyone doing mechanic work.

product works as listed, keeps tools together in one place and easy to take them back to the tool box at the end of the job. I have not lost a 10mm socket since owning this!

As a professional diesel mechanic ive always tried to find a product that would take the abuse and would be easy to clean after loading up with tools and oily parts. These mats are the bees knees! I use every single size while doing particular jobs to help me keep organized. They really do not slip and i clean them with hot dawn dish soap after a couple of uses.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my dad who LOVES to work in the garage. I’m so happy I got the name brand version because it does not disappoint. It is very hard to think of gifts for my dad so I was so excited about this. He was surprised about how cool this product looked and couldn’t wait to try it out. It is something that he never knew he needed until he tried it!! I’m so glad I got it for him because he would’ve never got it himself. He always send me photos now of him working in the garage and I see it being used in the Backround. It makes me so happy that he is enjoying it and it has made it easier to enjoy his time working in the garage. It was definitely money well spent!
