I’m going to start by saying that I am VERY picky about lavender oil. It is either a wonderful smell or super pungent and I can’t stand it. This lavender oil is possibly the most wonderful one I have found to date. The smell is very gentle and pleasing; very real and very fresh and not at all perfumey and overwhelming like many lavender oils. This could very well be the first lavender oil that I would say I “love” the smell.I’ve been using this on my face at night. It really seems to do a nice job moisturizing my skin, but doesn’t at all leave an oily film. My skin soaks it right up and seems to really like it. I have to be very careful what I use on my face because I can tend to break out and I have had absolutely no problem with this product.I’ve also been using it on my legs after I shave; on my elbows when they get dry… really…. I’ve just been using it everywhere and my skin seems to just love it!This is the first lavender oil I’ve ever left a review for because it’s the first one I’ve bought that I thought was worth it. I’ll be buying this product from now on and will also be purchasing several more for Christmas gifts.UPDATE: I had a problem for a while where my elbows got VERY dry. It had used lots of regular lotions on them and they weren't getting any better. Finally I took a picture just to be able to zoom in and see how bad it was. Then I used this lavender oil on it. It literally cleared up and was healed in under a week. I'm attaching the before and after photos. I really love this oil.

Halfway through this bottle of Ruth Paul Full Body Oil Moisturizing Oil and had to share my thoughts. When I first got it, it sprayed a lovely fine mist but as I used it more, the spray didn't work as well. Not a deal breaker, it's an oil blend, won't always spray perfect but I was bummed. Also, wasn't sure what a "dry oil" meant but as I used it, I realized that it must mean less greasy finish, which it is. I rub from head to toe and can almost immediately put my clothes on. I have some scratches on my arms and this oil has helped them heal, and since using, almost completely gone. A sign of a good healthy oil. I have very dry over-flat-ironed hair, and after rubbing on my arms, I run my hands through my hair. LOVE it on my hair. I have put on my hair a couple days in a row, before washing, and never felt greasy. You just have to adjust the amount to how dry your hair is. The buds in it are a very nice touch, but not sure if they had an effect on the spray, maybe blocking it? When the spray went flat, I opened the bottle to release the pressure, and tightly capped it again. Helped a little. Now I just spray it into my hands rub it in by hand. All in all, this moisturizing oil is amazing and delivers what is advertised. I love that it can literally be used head-to-toe, I rub on my toes, body, and end with my hair.

I was so intrigued by this body oil when I ordered it. I mean, look at it....there is REAL Lavender inside!! And I am a huge lavender fan, so I had to try it. SO HAPPY I DID! This oil is so versatile. My only complaint is that my two teen daughters aren't sharing it!! I absolutely love the feel and the smell is AMAZING! I will be buying more of this!

I'm happy as far as product quality, so far...I may even prefer it to argan oil. I primarily bought this for my hair, and was happy to see it didn't leave a residue (I have VERY thick and course hair, so this can be an issue). Only tested it once on my skin, so not sure about how much difference I see in that respect, but it did absorb pretty quickly without leaving an oily sheen. I'm not big on lavender scents, however, this one was not overpowering once it's on.The major complaint I have is with the spraying mechanism. Took only about 10 sprays before it broke; nothing appears to be blocking it, so not sure why it stopped working. I could try buying a new mechanism for this, but I don't feel this should be necessary when purchasing something that relies on the mechanism to use. Controlling the amount poured straight from the bottle is difficult and, of course, the flowers in it come out with w/e amount I pour into my hand.

This is a nice light oil that is good for both the body and the bath. My daughter suffers from mild eczema and I have been putting a few squirts of this oil into her baths. It's seems to be helping her legs be less irritated as we move into these warmer, humid months. The added benefit of lavender at night time is nice too for getting the children in the mindset for bedtime. I also like to use this oil for myself. It's especially nice on my dry elbows and knees. It's moisturizing, but not greasy.

I really like this oil. Them smell is great, the bottle is pretty on my dresser, and I love the way it works. I have eczema breakouts pretty bad sometimes and currently have some on both shins that will just not go away I've been using this for the past 4 -5 days and already can see a drastic difference. I love that it just sprays on also and I can rub it in. It goes a long way too so start with just 1 or 2 sprays.

I LOVE this oil. Not only does it feel so good, the smell is extremely therapeutic. My routine is to put this on my dry spots before I go to bed and I end up falling asleep to this amazing aromatherapy. The ONLY reason why I can't give it 5 stars is the bottling. I will buy this to no end if they can figure out how to not make the oily-feeling seep out. Every time I use it, there's oil residue on the outside of the bottle. So be careful and don't set the bottle on wood or anything that can get stained from oil.Honestly, even with that little annoyance, I will continue to use this oil. My son has a dry eczema spot on his arm and this oil works beautifully on it.

Wonderful scent feels beautifully silky on the skin but the container is difficult to hold in hand once the hands become oily. This is an amazing product but I struggle to apply with one hand and Spritz with the other. Plus you can only spray when the bottle is the right side up which is clearly a little difficult to do if you spray your whole body. I would definitely get it again if the company would change the bottle.
