Item (scope) arrived well packed and I took it out the same day to try. Firstly, I was surprised by the lack of magnification (compared with my 'pocket' binoculars). In fact, I was focusing on objects, thinking 'that's an okay image' and then (looking up from the scope) realising that the object was only a few yards ahead of me. It quickly dawned on me that I wouldn't be able to see anything particularly useful with this scope. And then the focus knob unscrewed and came off in my hand. Total time of use approx 4 minutes. I have to say that my decision to buy this scope was based on its reviews - which are all 5 star - a fact that about which I am quite gobsmacked!

When it arrived promptly, it was well packaged and I was imediatly impressed with the monocular. Upon trying it for lens quality i was plesantly surprised for this price. However the smartphone adapter leaves a lot to be deisred in terms of quality and stability on the phone with such a heavy (relative to the adapter) monocular. As it is not stable on the phone even with the arm the shortest possible it makes it almost impossible to hold, it is difficult enough due to the magnification.

Nice and compact easy to use

Really disappointed in this. The lens seemed clear, and despite the lack of instructions, relatively simple to work out, BUT... Within 5 minutes, I went to take my iphone off the mount and the mount snapped. Then, when connecting the tripod to the base of the scope, the tripod literally came apart in my hands. Absolutely appalling build quality. Returned for refund.
