Easy to play with.
Purchased for my 7 year old son. He loves magic and science. This is a really fun activity to do with him. There is a pamphlet of directions on how the tricks work that includes photos. The activities are straightforward and easy to put together. I would recommend this product if you are looking for something to stow away for a rainy day or as a gift.

Many tricks
We only tried few so far, couple were ok, but I wish plastic piece for hologram matched better, it was crooked when put together and didn't sit flat on top of the phone

It's the science part that caught my eye
This was purchased as a gift for a 6 year old. It has yet to be given or used; but the packaging is top drawer. I did a lot of research before selecting this specific Magic/Science activity. Am confident it will be entertaining enjoyed

For 8 yr olds
My 10 yr old burned thru this in about 2 hours and never picked it up again. Good for 7 or 8 yr olds.

Not to magic at all but is entertainment for the kids.
My 9 year old daughter is loving this kit so far! We only done a couple of the activities but they are make for great entertainment.

I wanted to love it but I feel it was cheaply made.
Aside from the fact that a 6 year old was NOT interested in this product, the items were not built very well. Definitely not well enough for $30. This box is worth at least $10-$15 but not $30. The pyramid for the hologram did not sit evenly, no matter how many times we tried to fold it and correct it it was crooked and kept falling over due to it not being sturdy. The disappearing box was the most fun however the lid did not close properly and was needed to be supported by hand. Everything else was cheap and hardly an experiment, although we did like the 3D glasses. I wish I loved it, I wish the items were more sturdy. I tried to make the best of the situation and to have fun with it and show him the experiments but they were just not that good.

The kids enjoyed the kit
I got this for my boys for a Christmas present and they have really enjoyed it. So far, they like the magic box the best, but there are a few things we still need to try. Overall, I'd recommend this kit based on my experience so far.
