These are much lighter and easier to feel through than some of the kevlar type gardening gloves, so they should be good when cutting difficult veg in the kitchen--especially wise if you are on blood thinning medication.However, they are very slippery, as the material has a silky feel with no tackiness or gripping pads. I've got around this by painting mine with Copydex latex adhesive, but it does make them look grubby, so it would be better to have tacky or rubberised areas built in, in addition to the cut protection. Without the tack, I was actually more likely to have an accident grabbing at things that were slipping out of one hand, while I had a knife in the other; more likely to break crockery too; or drop things on your foot...The gloves took exactly 2 months to arrive, and I had half given up on them by the time they did, though the vendor was quite pleasant in their reassurances whenever I enquired. On the tracking, they were listed as 'delivered' when they were meant to be listed as 'dispached'. I thought they must have gone astray when I saw this, but it was a mistake at the vendor's end.I'm finding them useful, now that I have modified them. I must caution that I've not actually tried deliberately cutting myself through them to see if they work. They do look the part though.

Now you might imagine these gloves could be anything other than comfy and workable, but they do actually work on both fronts. The material although tough and resilient enough to prevent any kind of cuts or grazes, are exceptionally comfortable and to a degree actually warm and thin enough not to hamper or hinder the user during intricate work. Therefore these gloves offer good protection to those working in mechanics, sheet metal work, bodywork on cars, and obviously those employed in food preparation, kitchen staff, Chef’s, Cooks, etc. For the mechanic these would be a boon in use because they would offer good protection from sharp metal edges and obtrusive engine components when working in confined area’s. Just coming back to our friends the mechanics, it is especially good to note that they do allow you to work with small nuts and bolts, plus small washers, without making you feel clumsy. Overall i’ve found these gloves to be a real bonus in the workshop, and would recommend them without hesitation.

These gloves offer excellent protection against cuts and grazes and are comfortable to wear. However I would give this WARNING if you want to order more than one pair do so in separate orders - I ordered 2 x pairs and was charged £ 5.99 for postage and packing. It was argued that the cost was due to the fact that 2 x pairs posted together cost more to post than a single pair SO BE CAREFUL.Delivery took a while - Ordered On 21 October - Delivered on 7 Nov hence the loss of the star

I found these gloves very comfy and useful. I haven't worn them much yet though. Only 4 stars though because the ticket was on the outside of the glove which makes it look like I have them inside out.

They are effective like other cut resistant gloves. Excellent value for money. One star removed because delivery took over two months - that being said when I complained after 6 weeks no-show I was given a full refund and told to keep the gloves as a present if they finally appeared.

Lovely fit for small hand.The gloves do not allow the blade to penetrate the fabric.No more cut fingers and hands.

Short delay in arrival time but looks to be as described-is a gift so not yet opened

I purchased these after grating my knuckle down to the bone. I love how these protect your hands and they are also easy to clean. Had them for a few months now and they have held up well. Cheap price too.
