🔧 Get a grip on your diagnostics with TKDMR Probes!
The TKDMR Insulation Wire Piercing Probes set includes four color-coded probes designed for automotive diagnostics. Each probe measures 19mm in length and can handle up to 30 volts. With a non-slip cover and UL certification, these tools ensure safety and precision in your repairs. Compatible with most test lead kits, they are essential for back probing weather pack style connectors.

Work remarkably well
These test lead ends are the best thing I ever used for getting a measurement in tight automotive environments without stripping back the wire. They are very thin, almost like needles. They leave literally no more than a pinhole in the wire. I have used the spring loaded all one piece wire piercing probes before. But these work better. You put the plastic piece over the wire. It is short, about 3 inches so you can manuver it into tight spaces. Then you push the pin down the plactic tube. Boom! you are in the wire.I can see that these very thin tips are going to be useful in other ways as well, for example, getting into the back of various plugs and connectors to get readings. You will have to buy a set of banna plug leads to use with these. that's how you get from the wire piercing tip to your meter.

Meh, cheap cheap and not so fun
This is not the screw type wire piercing probe. Meaning, you put the hook over the wire and then you stab the needle through the wire. Unfortunately, it doesn’t hold. This may be ok for diy once in a while, but wouldn’t work for a pro. I would not buy again. Better get the screw type next time.

No screw fitting just pushes on
The flaw is the white outer part separates from the needle and you put white part around wire and insert needle. The power probe and more expensive tools have a screw fitting so the needle does not slip out. I have used 3 of the 4 so far and 1 does not stay tight. I do like I can back probe connectors easily and they are well worth the money for that.

They would be great if
They would have been better if they screwed together

A must have, for troubleshooting challenging electrical issues.
These work OK, however, I would lIke to see the piercing point be on a screw thread, so that when piercing the wire to be probed, there is no tendency for the point to slip out of the wire insulation. Great value for this tool,

For the price, these are ok.
Not the greatest of quality, but for the price, they are not too bad.

Mostly does what's needed , BUT
The needle probe does pierce insulation to make contact while leaving a small enough opening to reseal itself without repair needed. This would be a fantastic probe if only the needle carrier included a spring to hold it to the target wire while the measurement is being made. In a vibrating environment, the probe can fall from the wire before measurement is complete.
