Ultra silent, molex AND 3 pin for whatever your need is but it wont blow you away with fan RPM.
I thought about the correct stars to give this for a while. There are 4 fans in here and i got them on sale for only 11.99. Some people say they dont push much air, and honestly they would be right. They dont push nearly as much air as say a BeQuiet! or Noctua, or Thermaltake. etc. But that being said they are dead silent, they have molex and 3 pin connectors on the same wire for each fan in case you are like me and dont have a dedicated fan controller. That being said they are so quiet and pretty low RPM fans so running them full speed with molex all the time is perfectly acceptable in my eyes. After installing 3 of them to my case my temps in 35C summer time ambient heat dropped by 15C under heavy gaming, from 75C gpu/cpu to 60C. Over time I will gladly upgrade all of these to much faster, higher quality fans, but its a quick and dirty solution that is dead silent so i cant complain one bit! I mean come on, you are getting 4 fans for the price of 1 what do you expect?

Great little fans repurposed
I use these in our fireplace heat-o-later. The 2 original fans were ineffective and noisy. There were five fan mount holes but only 2 fans. Cheap manufacturing install! I ordered a set of 120mm fans for quiet and efficiency several years ago. They eventually wore out and quit.I ordered two sets of these and installed one set about a month ago. These are more quiet that the first set of 120's were. I use a 100mw 12volt dc power supply to run them and it sets in the 5th hole with a cover over it. The whole setup is very efficient. We heat the family room & kitchen all winter - about 18' x 27' area with this setup.Great little fans repurposed.

Good fan. Excellent value!
I use his fan mainly mounted to my radiator. As some of the reviewers stated, the fans are pretty audible ( I won't say noisy). If you are someone who owned other 140mm fans especially the ones with high Static Pressure, you might be disappointed with the amount of noise this fan produces. I am telling you: please don't be because everything is relative. Fans with high static pressure will always be noisier than regular case fans. As the static pressure increases with higher RPM, the fan will typically get noisier. It's true the Rosewill Hyperborea pushes more air and has higher air flow @ the same RPM when compared to a fan like the Noctua NF-A14 iPPC 3000 or 2000. But it's noisier as well. Overclockers.com has done a nice roundup testing comparing a bunch of 140mm radiator fans (I attached a picture of the testing results). You can tell that the NF-A14 @ 1500 RPM exhibits the same performance as the Hyperborea @ 1300 RPM with almost the same amount of noise. If you are using this fan as a Radiator fan and you appreciate a silent PC, you have to know that you will have to run it @ 1000 RPM at most (900 RPM is preferable). That doesn't mean you are compromising the performance of your system because @ 1000 RPM those fans will cool as good as other fans @ 1300 or 1500 RPM. Given it's hard to find a good 140mm radiator fan ( unlike 120mm fans ), I will have to say those ones are considered among the good ones: 0. Excellent value, almost 1/2 the price of any other high end quality radiator fan (Noctua or Noiseblocker .....) 0. Long sleeved cable 0. PWM 0. Good relative performance with high static pressureNote: Those fans are identical to the Akasa Apache 140mm fans. It's basically the same fan under a different brand name.

They don't move enough air to do...well pretty much anything you want a case fan to do.
Wow. I'm normally a fan of Rosewill (pun intended). However, these fans need help. Background -I replaced two factory 120mm fans in my Zalman extended tower case with three of these 120mm fans from Rosewill. Yes, I added one additional fan. My case accepts up to five 120mm fans. I couldn't have been more surprised when I found that my array consisting of six 7200 RPM drives was hot enough to burn my hand. It never was before. I got online and purchased a competitive model, albeit twice as expensive. The new fan is rated at twice the CFM, but it appears to be closer to 4x real world performance. A single good fan can keep my drives reasonable cool. The good -These fans are extremely quiet and appear well built. They should be quiet when you consider they barely move any air at all.The bad -At full speed these things barely move enough air to feel. I actually had to check to see if they were spinning.

Don't buy these fans.
I highly suggest you stay away from these fans, I only bought them to get the remote because I lost the one that came with my cullinan mx case and this set comes with the same remote. There however lies 1 of the many problems.Proprietary fan cables that only work with the controller, you can't plug them in directly to ur mobo.No speed controller because again nothing plugs into the mobo some cases like mine you can plug the speed portion into the cases fan speed switch but even that doesn't work half the time.No custom rgb you're stuck with what you're stuck with on the remote again. If you lose the remote good luck ur stuck on full rainbowThe fans reset to rainbow after every restart reboot, wake from sleep everything they reset, better have that remote handy. The only good thing is that they actually look quite good with some of the option but they are not worth the trouble. I swapped them out for RGB fans that have standard 4 pin PWM headers and 3 pin rgb cables coming off them and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Really a must have...
Really a must have, if you care for looks. There can be a mismatch of motherboards and cases these days and you won't know it until you find it out the hard way. The thing is that on modern motherboards we will find RGB logo and in most cases those will be partially covered by large fans on the back side of the PC. Some cases took care of the matter and placed the motherboard recessed and made the look of the RGB logo visible; others did not and this is when such a low profile fan comes in handy. It will at least partially allow better visual. As far as noise goes; I can't hear it. Cooling is same as with any other fan cheap or pricey; no difference in heat dispersion. What I don't like about these fans is the white sticker with the logo; it pops into your eye and if you care for looks you should cover it, as I did.

This fan wobbles
Perhaps I got a defective fan, but this fan rubs up against the adjacent material that it's screwed to. I know it wasn't the fault of the dust filter I'd used, because the filter is aluminum and doesn't sag. Perhaps this fan was pro-rated to be in vertically-adjusted orientation but it's no good for being upside down (at the top of the tower) and it makes noise. It would not seem that good reviews of this product were valid based upon this. I'm dissapointed.

Garbage
Revised: Complete utter trash.Original: This is by far the worst fan ever made. If I owned this manufacturer I would fire the entire assembly line, liquidate the assets, sell the property and buy a food truck to flip burgers because that's pretty impossible to screw up. This loud piece of junk clicks none stop because of its bearings. It's a total joke. On the package they have "long lasting bearings", I guess they made them long lasting so the fan noise can drive you mad as long as possible. It's not even a little clicking sound....its super loud! Like seriously, how do you screw a fan up this bad? It spins to push air. That's the only thing this object does and it does it terribly. It's such a basic concept I can make a manual one with a piece of paper. They must be joking right? The real one is still in the mail on the way?FYI if you need skinny (<=15mm) PC fans Amazon US has much better ones, they ship to Canada, and cost about the same.

Don't buy these if you're installing them as a bottom mount intake
The fan has a tilt when installed 'upside down' as an intake. Therefore the fan blade strikes the case, I had to raise the fan significantly from the case for them not to make noise, which is not ideal for positive case pressure, I have ordered a set of Noctura slim fans to replace these and will be returning. If you are using them as an intake I would suggest only using them for vertical mounts. On the plus side, they do push a decent amount of air when scaled with PWM and did provide an improvement in case temperatures [specifically GPU].

Great Price, Great Performance, Great Size, Acceptable Noise
I needed a slim fan for the back of my case (exhaust) to clear my AIO lines.Very surprised with the volume of air this fan moves for how small it is and how loud it is.Granted its not quiet by any means at full tilt. But considering its moving 54cfm, you cant expect it to be silent. My Noctua fans are louder (they do move more air) but still. I'd say the noise level is appropriate given the level of air it's moving and how slim the blades. Also this is a PWM fan, when I'm not gaming my fans are at 20-50% load. In that realm it's silent.I'd urge people not to by this fan for a radiator or CPU cooler. As it's static presure is not great. But as a case fan, works perfect.I only used this in exhaust configuration. I see some people having clearance issues using it as an intake. So I can't speak to that.Price = CheapPerformance = GreatForm factor = Slim asLongivety, couldn't tell ya. This is all based on first impressions but so far so good.

easy install. works well. looks cool
This fan was exactly what I needed. I like that it was simple: no software needed, came with a power cable adapter for multiple option installation options, screws included, easy to install. It fit perfectly, runs pretty quiet, has good airflow and the blue LED lighting looks good. Very happy with this purchase.
