Works Super Quickly
I was shocked by how easily the suction started. less than 3 second to get it started. and the hose is much wider than i thought so the water came jetting out. not great for cleaning sand gravel bc there is no screen. However great for quickly moving water or other liquids. this moved the water about 3-4 times the speed of my original siphon

It really works!
This product is easy to use and siphons a very significant volume of liquid quite rapidly. It will fill a 1 gallon jug in about 20 seconds. The self priming hose works perfectly.

Not as easy to use as described
It was necessary for me to fiddle with it to get it to work. Maybe because It was being used on a high up in the air, odd shaped motorcycle gas tank. The gas tank is upside down U shaped and smallish inside which made it difficult to move the suction head without hitting the sides of the tank or the U shape in the middle. Also had to work on the hose to flatten it out since it arrived rolled up. It did eventually work after I made the hose very flat and held it close down to the tank while moving the suction head in and out.Seems like it would be just as hard to use on a vehicle tank with a high up in the air filler like a newer SUV for instance. Seems like it would be fine for an older style car where the tank entrance was low, like behind the license plate, or an old truck that has the filler low on the side of the bed, or some other situation with a low gas filler.

Works fine
Works very quick to start the symphonic the fuel. Suction naturally depends on the hights differences of source and target. In my case, 5 gallons went down in less than 2 minutes. Faster than can's attachment does. If you are careful it easy to avoid any spill.

starting mechanism is not great
This product was functional, after a fashion. The shake to start mechanism wasn't amazing. Old school suck start is easier and perfectly safe if you're not a fool. Due to the design of the starting mechanism, you can't suck start this, so you're committed to the poor mechanism if you buy this. It's fine and it works with some fiddling. I'd honestly rather have just a hose and I might just cut off the starter.

no mess, no awkward lifting to pour
I love this product. It is a most excellent solution for fueling a boat on the water with jerry cans. You can secure the fuel container on the gunwale and run the tubing to the fuel port. A little jiggling and the job is done. Leaving the gas can on the truck tailgate to fuel lawn equipment is also a good option.

Easy to use
Originally I was looking to buy a powered siphon and then I came across this. For the price I figured it was worth the gamble. I could not be happier with the results. It's very easy to get the suction started and the large diameter hose transfers gasoline very quickly.

won't fit regular gas tank
This works great for me as I truck 40-50 gallons of gas to my lake if I leave my boat up there. I use 3 of these bad boys to dump 15 gallons at a time & it works great. One time I needed some extra gas for my generator only to discover the metal end will not fit down a normal vehicles gas tank. So useless in an apocalypse scenario or for a thief
