For my model railroad I needed a relay that would switch the output polarity. This relay did just that perfectly. I was using a Tortoise switch machine to operate crossing gates . The Tortoise machine requires reverse polarity to cycle the other direction. So now when my circuit is not active the Tortoise returns and when the circuit is activated the Tortoise swings the other direction. Also an ideal relay to control a larger relay to handle larger loads!

I needed a DPDT relay to let me use a footswitch to both key my armature radio and cut off audio from a second receiver and it worked great for this purpose. I was able to wire it up and mount it in the same small box I was using for some mute buttons. I would have loved to give it five stars but wish that the contacts had been labeled so I did not have to trace them out with a VOM.

I use these in homemade circuit boards and not had any problems. They fit right into experimental breadboard circuits and into prepunched diy solder in boards quite well. I buy them in 3,5,& 12 volt values depending on what the circuit requires.

These relays are cheap and they work. Havent used them in heavy duty applications, but great for light use and prototypes.

Good price and works well in standard breadboards. I've had others where pins are too small and make a poor connection.

I bought these intending to use the DPDT functionality but it turns out that only one side of the relay works, making it effectively a SPDT relay.
