Very cute
I was a little taken aback by the lack of directions but I put my thinking cap on and figured it out. The little clips are locking clips that you slide down the drinking straw part after filling and the tongue and grove clip into itself. Kept it leak proof and I even filled some with water and let them sit for a couple of days and still no leaks of weakness in the seams. Good product. Worth the buy.

Fun for imaginative play
I did not buy this for products intended use. I bought this for my preschool class for a Pet theme. I used it in the pet hospital and plan to use again during our Occupation unit for the hospital. My children are 4-5yr olds and I expected the IV bag to be broken by the end of the unit and tossed in the garbage to use a new one. It endured creative play and power struggles between who was going to use it first. For anyone buying these for a costume I suggest going to Lowe’s or HomeDepot and get a few pieces of PVC pipe, elbows, and wheels. You can make a portable IV stand for under $10 verses paying around $40 to buy one for a one time use. PVC can always be reused!

Sturdy, cute bags
Bags were sturdy. From reading the reviews I purchased larger 100 ml syringes and the fill up was very quick. It took only twice to fill versus multiple times like others stated. The only downfall is you have to do it slowly. A guest stored their IV bag with liquor in the freezer and the bag was intact 2 weeks later.

Works great
Using for vampire themed haunted garage. Filled with cranberry juice and hung from rafters. You can see the clown being "drained". Very realistic but probably wouldn't drink out of them.

Mostly as described, but syringe the wrong size
The syringe included to fill the bags has a tip that's too small, so I had to buy another syringe.

Perfect
Fantastic for the price! They were sturdy and had lots of excess. I filled mine with water and red dye.
