Not 360 degree movement as implied
My Instant Pot: Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker, 6 Qt, 5.5L.I purchased one of these based on the description stating "Rotate the diverter hose to the direction you want for pressure and steam release". Plus I'm 100% certain I saw '360' mentioned somewhere but I think that has now been removed from the amazon page. These are designed to fit the release valve which is a 2 position valve so you cannot point these in any 360 degree direction The only directions it can be pointed to are opposite to the 2 positions the valve points to, not 360 degree movement which is implied. It's a 1 piece moulded unit and does not have a rotatable base in which the 'cannon' can freely turn to any degree. That's the function I based my purchase on. What this does do though is face the steam direction outlet more horizontal instead of vertical and in 180 degrees to the valve pointed directions (again 2 position)

I have used this to divert my smelly chicken stock in the general direction of my 24/7 marijuana smoking neighbour. He closed his window for once.

Excellent diversion!
Love that I can divert the steam towards the extractor fan with no spurting or splashing on my wall. I no longer have to cover the outlet with a dishcloth and move the pressure release valve with a wooden spoon. Bought this for my caravan's Instant Pot and will be buying another one for my home appliance. Highly recommended

Not for me!
Not happy with this! Not only does it not effectively divert the steam, it just comes out the sides instead but you are not able to rotate it like previous reviewer mentioned. Also when I think I'm venting my IP it's not lined up where it should be too confusing.Good idea but product does not work no matter how much I push it down. If I can find the box it came in i will be returning this.

This is great for diverting the steam out of the window away from blinds etc

Kinda pointless
I really wanted this to be better. The product itself is fine but due to the angle, assuming most people use their pot facing forwards, it just directs the steam all over the wall rather than up in the air.
