Niece is challenged in using this book to build her English grammar. We are getting good results on her using this book to study grammar.

It's my go-to book for tutoring students. Moss covers all the essential topics in an engaging and practical way. Students learn essential grammar for writing without getting bogged down in the minute details.

This product includes a lesson on inclusive pronouns. For those who support that, you will be glad to know. For those who don’t support that, you will also be glad to know.

Learning how to read and write where it is a well-written document is critical to getting ahead in this world today regardless if you are 6 years old or 60 years old.Starting with the basics is a must and this book give you lots of practice doing this in small short lessons, even having online access to more practice lessons. Great way to learn even if English is your second language.

The books are exactly what I have been looking for!

I’ve been using this to supplement grammar practice for my middle schooler for the past two years. We just look up whichever grammar concept he’s studying at school, and use the practice pages in the book for extra practice and test prep. It seems to have everything he’s covered in 6th and 7th grade so far.

Very straightforward without being too dry, this covers every aspect of grammatical corrections! It is divided into three distinct sections, but you would probably wish to start from the beginning anyway. Each lesson builds on the last, not only in form but also in instructional wording as well. If you don’t know what they mean by the first thing in a sentence, it becomes harder to understand the second concept at all. Of course.All in all I am pleased- perfect supplemental teachings, or as a standalone for someone who picks things up quickly, maybe. I know even I will learn plenty from this one!

The sequencing of this book makes it a useful guide for teachers who are looking for help when planning out their grammar lessons throughout the year. That is to say: the table of contents is the most useful part of this book. The book’s exercises and explanations of concepts are severely lacking. The descriptions of how grammatical elements work literally make the elements more confusing than if the book had only given its example sentences. There are also far too few exercises for each element. The only good parts of the “workbook” aspect of this book are the quizzes after every three elements. Otherwise, googling a worksheet or making your own is the way to go.
