Jealiot Camera Case for Nikon Coolpix P1000 - Weather Cover and Life Time Warranty (Khaki)

I bought this for the Nikon P1000 - I'd previously bought the Amazon Basics one recommended for the P1000 which I wasn't 100% happy with.This one is great - high quality and worth paying a bit extra for over the amazon equivalent.Fits very snugly, you can re-arrange the main compartment dividers - I've used them to pad the front end a little to protect the lens hood which I tend to leave on permanently.A few pockets on each end - enough to battery and can probably get a charger in there somewhere.Feels good quality and looks professional.For me it's just what I was after, worth the extra money.

The item arrived in good time well packaged. The next day the camera arrived. Please be aware that the dividers serve no real purpose as the camera is so large the dividers have to be taken out fit the camera in either on its side or in the usual position . The camera bearing in mind its size does however fit. Doesn’t look like there will be room for much else in the body of the case and certainly not a flash. I was disappointed by the price and you may see from the other sizes of this bag that they are considerably cheaper for 1 cm less . You should however be aware that you need that centimetre !! In summary I would describe the case study with a good strap and able just to accommodate a large and heavy camera such as the P 1000

I was almost put off buying this case by a number of comments about it not being large enough: RUBBISH - it’s ideal!With about 5 mins of careful moving of the internal dividers I managed to get the camera fitting snugly and securely: yes I had to take the lens-hood off and put it in separately, but that’s hardly a problem, and I would have done anyway. I’m not sure what else some people felt the need to stuff into the bag (a tripod, maybe?) but, I found it to be just right to hold the camera without it “rattling about”. It has good padding, a comfortable, wide shoulder-strap, decent sized zipper-handles that can be easily gripped in cold weather, and a colour other than the seemingly obligatory black; and all at a reasonable price.If you’ve got a P1000 then get this!
