Absolutely. I found the placement of the brads to be very accurate using the smart point. I use this nailer all of the time.

Q: Is the trigger the only thing that activates the nail being fired? Seems less safe that way.

No, the nose of the nailer must be depressed to activate the nailer.

Q: Power source in the description says “corded electric”. I thought the power came from the air compressor. Why am I having to plug it in as well?

Trust me, it is powered by an air compressor. In fact I used mine yesterday. This is a great product. Just remember to use compressor oil in the nailer before each use.

Q: Does the kit come with a carrying case or not? Description contradicts.

Yes, there is a carrying case included.
