It is non-porous and ideal to reduce bacterial growth. The limitation of heat loss : By its design, the grid of the upper ventilation provides good ventilation while isolating the terrarium. All grids and profiles are powder coated (resin-coated and baked) in the exact color profiles. A global approach : If you set the lighting inside the terrarium you will be sure that the animals have enought UVB. But if you set it up outside the vivarium, and lay the lampholder on the grid, you wll lose at least 50 % of UVB. Furthermore, reptiles feels better when lighting is inside, as they associate light and heat, as for the sun. We created a thin T5 luminaire that integrate perfectly in the Elegance terrarium range. Two fixing bolts are included and allow to fix the luminaire in a few minutes without making holes to the grid of the terrarium.
