Hands down the most comfortable boot I've ever had straight out of the box. Great arch support, toe box feels good. The only downside, and unfortunately it is a big downside, I can't take the boot off without a shoe horn!! First time I put them on my foot slides comfortably inside and feels great. However, when I go to take them off, there is a leather strip inside the back of the heel area, and it will not let me pull my foot out of the boot. I have a boot jack and was not even able to remove them with that. I had to buy a shoe horn to slip behind my heel in order to remove them. That also creates a big problem because I will have to carry a shoe horn with me in order to take them off somewhere other than home.

My husband only like Dan Post boots. He was so excited Christmas Morning to open these babies. Already wearing them!

Fits great. My only complaint is that even though they are composite toe, these boots will set off a metal detector. So if you need to go through one, plan to remove your boots prior. They most likely have a steel shank to aid in ladder climbing.

Inconstant sizing, very uncomfortable design, and the outsole is deteriorating after a month of use and I'm a supervisor so I'm not even laboring hard with them. The waterproofing is very good, however.Dan Post makes great boots; this just isn't one of them
