Maybe I'll update more thoroughly later...In general, the UI/UX and software people behind the software for this must take suggestions seriously and think things through very well.Usually, within minutes or seconds, I'll find glaring flaws in most things people do or make if it's software, hardware, appliances, tools, etc. Software and UI/UX setups are the worst culprits and easiest to find flaws, laziness, bugs, and poor design. And I get frustrated "why didn't they just..."This? I'm so used to thinking negatively that I keep surprising myself, preemptively judging "well, if they did a good job I'd be able to...oh, they DID set it up like that!"I knew about Stream Decks many years ago but assumed it wasn't very robust. It has a lot going for it. I'm not a streamer. I'm an obsessive-compulsive tinkerer who likes to automate things, make scripts and batch files and AutoHotKey is a nuisance. It'll be so handy to have my various scripts and batch files for things have icons so I actually know what's what.The macro functionality in the "Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center" is excellent, and I'm looking forward to Stream Deck's already being a GREAT starting point. I'll make a few minor suggestions and surely they'll implement them since they obviously want this to be an excellent product.I bought the Mini to learn with and pass along to my dad once I'm familiar with it. I'll probably upgrade to a larger one, but this is no slouch.Here's one timestamp batch file output (one of 4 timestamp batch files, for different scenarios) I often use and never remember which "page" & key which one is on, on my excellent Microsoft X4 keyboard...now I have an icon and label and can timestamp among actual pages on 2025-12-03T17:12

This thing has changed my life… the convenience of being able to just close & open different applications at a push of a button… so many features and functionalities the possibilities are endless… even if you aren’t a streamer and just a regular gamer like me you’ll be amazed at how much time this guy will save you

The biggest thing that delayed my use of a stream deck was uncertainty if it would add value to my workflow and concern for ease of use. This unit has a super small footprint at my workspace and was super easy to set up with the desktop app. I'm not certain if a product can make an app any more intuitive. The keys are well lit and customizable making the accessibility of changing scenes or utilizing overlays so much nicer. If you stream, it will make your life much easier but if you shoot videos from your desk...this will make you life 10x's easier being able to conduct transitions live and have overlays prepared to drop in while shooting rather than editing in post. Having learned that the set up is so easy, I will definitely look at future upgrades in this product line. Oh, and yeah you can totally set this up to use with other apps and programs as well to shortcut editing, web browsing, in house lighting...

I like this very easy to use Spotify while gaming, you can change the track in mid game. Spotify requires paid subscription just heads up.

The Stream Deck itself is really nice, good little heft to it, and just all around feels good. The only problem I have is the software. I had to download a whole other program to just have buttons that interact with ONLY my Spotify. Also, I can’t figure out how to get Spotify or Discord to launch by pushing a button. Might just be my computer but that the problem I’m having.

Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for my setup, now I can do tons of different actions from copy & pasting to clipping moments when recording or streaming to even playing sound effects, opening softwares/applications & pressing keybinds easily within games or anything else without having to remember the keybinds themselves.Also, glad I didn’t purchase one with more buttons because on this you can have multiple pages of buttons.

Purchased for my desktop computer at work. Even with two screens I somehow have a hard time clearing my screen enough to get to another program or find a folder. I now no longer have that issue. I programed each button for a specific need and I can now get so much more done without the back and forth. You can program this little thing for pretty much any action you can imagine. Especially useful for movie and music editing and worth the small price.
