I prefer magnets to velcro and wood to plastic. This is a lovely set.The white carrot is Daikon.The cream coloured one, pink on the inside is a steamed bun.I emailed them to confirm as I was curious.Some of the pieces depict the inside of the fruit or veg but others such as the apple do not. It's not a big deal.Some magnets are stronger than others. It comes with a chefs hat and apron too.Children will love this.

Fantastic quality, much loved by my 5 year old, cooking-mad son. He is not tiring of making meals for us and pursuing his passion for fine cookery. There is a good range of foods provided and the magnets are just the right strength. They seem like a sturdy set, which included a slightly comical chef's hat, and an apron. However I feel forced to deduct a star for the absurdity that each individual item in the set was wrapped in its own plastic packaging. For a wooden eco set, there was no need for so much plastic packaging. I would still recommend this item.

This is AWESOME for the money!! Came with a (plastic) basket, little apron and bag (maybe not the best quality but ideal for my 18 month old son) but the wooden food, pealer and knife, cutting board are great. So many different foods, you don't get with other sets (trust me I have looked at pretty much them all) all individually wrapped. It's a gift for Xmas to go with his new food truck so haven't made sure that they all connect but they all appear too. Only slightly negative thing is some foods are a little small so won't be putting them out for him until he's older which isn't an issue when there are so many others to play with. Would recommend!!

Bought as a gift for grandchild who loves it. However, every single individual piece was wrapped in plastic. I removed before giving as had been asked to get wooden toys in order to reduce plastic waste. Unnecessary packaging. Nice set apart from that.

Arrived on time and well packaged. Came in a little shopping basket which can be used for playing "shops". All pieces look sturdy and well made. Bought as christmas presents for 2 of my granddaughters, I am sure they will both have hours of fun playing with this in their new kitchens

Great value for money. Came in a little basket which was a nice surprise. For me some of the items are still a little on the small side to give to my daughter, so these have been put aside. And some of the magnets holding the items together easily came apart, not sticking. Hence 3 stars

These are brilliant, my granddaughter spent all Xmas day ‘cutting’ her food and reassembling it. Not too small for little hands and they seem hard wearing.

Bought for my 18 month old granddaughter. Some of the smaller components have been put aside until a little older but the product is very well made, sturdy and very bright and colourful. She loves playing with them . Would recommend.
