My son and his family were going on a cruise and I didn't know what to get my granddaughter for her birthday. My daughter-in-law told me that she needed this to go on the cruise to go snorkling. As soon as he opened it she was so excited. When she got back I asked her how they worked and she said they worked great and it was a lot of fun. There worth the money whether for a child or an adult.

I bought this mask for a trip to Hawaii. It was great. Itwas comfortable, clear, no distortions, and was fun to use. My biggest problem was the size. My measurement was exactly at 12cm right in these middle between the 2 sizes. I chose to go with the larger size and there was some leaking. I wish it had been clearer that i should have sized smaller. These large did fit, but i guess not as tightly as it should. My partner also enjoyed the mask. He has a health condition that doesn't allow his mouth to completely close around things like straws, so this mask was great for him compared to traditional snorkel tubes.

I've done limited testing with the mask, so I'm not able to comment on extend use or long term durability yet. I bought this as a lightening deal, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. If I paid full price, then the value isn't there yet.What's good:As a kit, it's a good value for the price. The mask fit well, and was actually very comfortable. It fit flush and held it's seal. I was able to breath through my nose or mouth. The snorkel stayed out of the water when used at the surface. The front window was a decent size. The snorkel seal was perfect, and I found no leaks during my 5 minute test.What could be better:I was surprised when I tested the mask. The front window has slight waves in the material, so I saw some distortion. Not bad, but enough to notice when I turned my head. Also, the side view was worthless. You can see light and general shapes, but I couldn't tell what anything was. The main window didn't give me any more visibility than my old snorkel mask with side windows. Finally, The snorkel was a bit short for how I swim. I had a number of times when it sealed, but I thought I was above water.Overall, I think this is a suitable mask for anyone who wants an all in one option. For my use, I'm not sure how much time it will see. It's a bit bulky and heavy for travel, and I can't get past the distortion. I also have trouble with fogging, and believe this will be an issue breathing within the mask.

I loved this snorkel mask! I can't stand a snorkel in my mouth, having to remember to blow water out, etc. With this, I was able to continuously swim with my face in the water and look around without coming up for air or dealing with breathing through a tube in my mouth! I just swam and breathed as normal! It was so relaxing! When diving under, there were no leaks and coming up, noblowing out water! My whole family had them for snorkeling in Hawaii. There were 8 of us and one of those was a 4 yr old using the child's version of Tunis mask and she did great with it! (She even uses it in the pool and loves it!). I highly recommend this product! Oh! And the waterproof phone pouch that comes with it fit my iPhone 7plus (without it's protective case). I used it under water while snorkeling and above water on the boat. I took pictures and videos. They came out great! You couldn't tell it was taken through plastic! And sounds were recorded on the videos without distortion! Loved it! I tried these out today (after returning a more expensive version from another brand). My measurement was around 4.8 ins but I still bought a S/M. It fits perfectly, very snug. There is no fogging up in the mask once you are wearing it. There is no leakage either. The only criticism is the bolt they provide for the go pro is too short and cannot latch on to the nut once the go pro is in place. I just used a longer nut and bolt from draw and it worked fine. I'll be ordering 3 more of these for the rest of the family.

We were a bit skeptical about how well these types of masks would work. Having just returned from a cruise where we snorkeled several times, I can say they are fantastic. They just simply work, period. The stopper keeps even a drop of water from getting in the snorkel when you go under water. When you surface, there's no having to blow hard to clear it out, its already clear....you just start breathing again. If any water does get into the mask, it simply flows down to the escape port at the very bottom and drains out, even when you are beneath the surface. The only minor downside is fogging, which you get with any dive apparatus. The cool thing is that you can purposely let a little water in, slosh it around the viewing area, tilt you head up just slightly and it drains out...viola back to clear viewing. Love it!!

Living in Hawaii snorkeling is a must! My 5 year old wanted to be part of the fun so we ordered her this mask. It works great. It does take a few attempts to get a good fit but practice makes perfect. She is able to easily snorkel around enjoying the fish and turtles. She's a chatterbox and can talk (though not legibly) with the mask on.

I am updating this review because the manufacturer has refunded the purchase price and also have offered to send me a new mask as they believe it was just a faulty item. So I changed the review to three stars and recommended they post some research on their specific version of this product.They replied that they already say in the product description on Amazon “ Serious free diving or intensive swimming not recommended “ When my granddaughter wears it, she is out of breath in 3 minutes. We tried it 3 times, and the same thing happened again. So, I went on the internet to see if others had the same problem, and found out that others have found that CO2 builds up from breathing in this type of mask. Some people said they thought the original maker of this style,(which is HEAD) was OK, but the knock-off designs had problems. HEAD says they've researched their masks and have not found any problems.

The media could not be loaded.  Tuvimos que amarrar y hacerle un nudo los lazos superiores para que ajustara bien a la cara de mi niño de 4 años. Estuvo muy feliz explorando en la alberca y viendo peces en el mar y funciona muy bien, solo hay que recordar abrir la máscara cada tres minutos para evitar mareos por intoxicación por bioxido de carbono como señalan las recomendaciones. Sugiero tengan cuidado para que el niño no se sumerja de más, al mío se le olvidó y se sumergió dos segundos, entró agua a la cámara se la quitamos inmediatamente pero la sensación de ahogo fue tal que ya no la quiso usar por un buen rato.

difference in mask is length= i dont have a big head, but should have bought a large had trouble sealing to my narrow cheeks and chin rest, harder to breath through than regular snorkel. easy to pack in suitcase. extra valves included and good quality attachments.
