Not the one I have. The height rod measures in centimeters and in feet and inches, not just inches. Measures 5' 1", not 61".

Q: what is the weight capacity of the scale?

Q: Will using this in wood or laminate give inaccurate readings?

No. It should work fine as long as all corners of the platform sit flat and level on the floor.

Q: Can you buy extra weights to go higher then 400 pounds?

There is not a counterweight to increase the capacity on the 339 which is the dual reading scale. The counterweight will only work on the pounds only model with a capacity of 400 pounds. If you have an older style 339 with a top capacity of 350 pounds they do have a counterweight to increase the capacity to 450 pounds.
