after the disaster I had with the 40 dollar fixd, I was pleasantly surprised with how well this program worked. I plugged it in and downloaded odb home from the app store and it worked flawlessly. It did not clear the Maintanence Required code, but due to a typo in the Toyota site, I found a different method to clear it and all is well now

Very impressed. I like this OBD 2 read much better than other ones I have owned. The app makes it much easier to use. It also provides a lot more information than traditional OBD 2 readers. You can leave this one hooked up and it will provided information like you speed, acceleration time, braking time and distance. It explains what all the warning lights on your dash mean. This is the total package at a great price. I highly recommend this reader.

Great to have if looking for used car. Can see what car needs quickly and easily even if someone cleared codes. Love it

Does NOT CLEAR/ ERASE code! Check engine light came on in my car, bought this scanner, it gave me the same code I got using a friend’s scanner, so I’ll say it’s accurate! However, after making a repair in my car, I plugged this OBD2 scanner into my car again to erase the code, when I found out that it doesn’t give you the option to!! Reached out got the seller but no help! So I had to go back to my friend’s house to borrow/use his scanner again. So it does half a job! However, in the product name/ description it said it does, which is not true.

I bought this to give my sister so we can try to help trouble shoot car trouble from afar. She live about five hours from us so we can’t just swing by to help her out.This has proven to be really easy to use, and super accurate. Downloaded the app, plug in the scanner, and walk through the steps. Easy peasy.My husband and enjoyed messing with this for a while before we saw my sister to pass it off. You can track different things on the car while driving it.

The media could not be loaded. I have a SyncUP DRIVE from T-Mobile and I use it as a wifi hotspot. I had a check engine light turn on, and the SyncUP Drive didn't give me enough information as to what the issue was. I saw this was a low cost option for getting some more in-depth info for my car, and I thought I'd give it a shot. Worked great right out of the box, connected quickly, gave me a ton of information (see video), and I was able to get the info I needed to figure out what was wrong (turns out it was a faulty spark plug). Would highly recommend to anyone, I'll keep this in my glove box for next time an error pops up.
