Highly recommend this heat press!
I make custom DTF shirts and all kinds of things for my online boutique and I used to use a clam shell heat press. I gritted my teeth and just bought this after months of putting it off. Boy it has been the BEST purchase I have ever made for my business so far! Live this machine. I highly recommend HTVRONT brand, but if you’re getting a heat press, get the auto press2, not the first one! The 2 has upgraded options that are main reason I bought it (pressure change being the #1 reason)

Love It!!!
Love love love HtvRont products. This heat press is everything. I bought the purple one. It’s pretty heavy, but once you get it setup you are good to go. It’s very easy to use, and every thing comes out perfectly. I have recommended this company many times, and will continue to do so. I love that the screen can be tilted, that there’s a pressing pad, and that you can increase/decrease the pressure by just pressing a button. Automatic shutoff is a plus as well! If it’s within your budget, you will be happy with this purchase!

Very useful
This by far is one of the best heat press machines I’ve used! I love that it has several features for weight, temperature, and time. Another great feature is that it’s an auto press so I can step away and wont have to worry about burning my material!

My Honest Review
It works great for my business. I mostly use it to apply backing to embroidery projects, so it's perfect. I love the style, the color, and that it's automatic. I am super happy I got it. I would highly recommend it for Crafters and Embroidery Shops who are just needing something to apply Backing and Glitter to Appliqué.

Prior issues with the original model have mostly been addressed.
I loved my old auto heat press from HTVront. But it did have several issues. Most (not all) of those issues have now been resolved. Here's my summary:1. The pull-out tray comes all the way out in the new model. The old one only pulled out so far, increasing the risk for burn. And it was hard to see the collar area of a garment, so positioning was difficult. Having the tray pull further out is very helpful!2. The clearance between the top of the press and the pressing pad is much better now. This also reduces the risk for burning and makes it easier to see and position ones project. Thicker items (such as sweatshirts) fit better and are easier to work with in the new model.3. The maximum pressing time used to be only 99 seconds. This was insufficient for slates and ceramic items. And you would have to stick nearby and press the button over and over to finish those types of projects. The time allowance is now completely sufficient.4. There was no pressure adjustment before. In order to trick the press into firmer pressure, one would have to use pressing pillows. And even then, I feel the pressure wasn't good enough for something like puff vinyl. Now you can adjust the pressure from 50 to 170 lbs. The jury is out whether or not this really has much bearing. And I haven't yet tried puff vinyl in the new press. For some reason, the manual recommends 170 lbs for everything. Why? I haven't done enough projects yet to make a real assessment of this new feature. But it is definitely enticing.5. The new model is almost completely silent in operation because there is no cooling fan. The old model had a fan. I'm a bit concerned that there could be problems with overheating and burning things out given that there is no fan. But I have my fingers crossed that this doesn't prove to be problematic.6. One of the things users complained about, with the original heat press, was the quality of the pressing pad. I personally had issues with it. It got all ridged and icky after only a few presses. They sent me a new "improved" one. The same thing occurred. So I ended up buying a silicone pressing pad and cutting the corners to match the plate (tricky!). The silicone pad is much improved. But it's a shame that HTVront did not listen to their customers on this particular issue. They are still sending out that horrible pressing pad. They were, however, quite responsive on the other issues mentioned here. So kudos to them for actually improving their product overall. This press is awesome and the price is affordable. It's perfect for the average hobbyist. I absolutely recommend it!

Worth the Purchase!!!!
I hesitated to purchase this item, but I am very happy that I did! It works just as well as my clamshell heat press. I love that it is automatic. I thought that it would not work as well as my manual heat presses, but it actually works better. I love the preset options. I can set my temperatures and it will automitically close when i slide the tray in. I also love that once the timer goes off, it automatically lifts--reducing buring my items. It's a game changer for me. My other heat press made a loud clinging noise and it took some effort to lift it. I love that you can adjust the pressure. I use the heaviest pressure for most of my items. My only drawback is that the pad that comes with it is not quite 15x15 and I felt I needed an extra pad. I purchased a similar pad to put on top of it and all of my items press perfectly and evenly. Its a pretty machine, time saving and is worth the purchase. I highly recommend-especially if you have been contemplating purchasing this item. Its very well worth the purchase!
