Save your money. The amount that you receive is ridiculously small. It is one pound but it is a 5x5 inch bag filled with sand. I guess it’s my fault for not knowing how much sand weighs 1 lb. I have no idea why it needs to cost $10 though. Go to loca craft store indead

Absolutely furious, the bag I got was inside a foil container labeled black charcoal bath salt. With a re-label stating it as sand. It ruined a $35.00 model base because it was salt. I can't make this stuff up. Unreliable. As you can see in the picture, completely disolved.

Great for incense charcoals, though sometimes the resin heats it up and makes it melt together. Doesn't happen every time, but kind of odd. Have to tap it with a pair of tongs to get it to go back to being sand. Overall great, though!

One pound of sand is only about the size of your palm. This item is extremely overpriced. You can buy a bag of 5lbs sand for $6 at your local garden store or your local craft store. I'll be returning this item.

Came in Plastic bag tied with a zip tie. I appreciate the money saver. The sand is legit. Would buy again.

This is a very nice fine grain sand and was perfect for what I wanted it for as part of a table decoration for an alumni banquet.
