Industripet LickiMat Soother, Assorted colors

We received the Lickmat today and our boy took to it right away. We used his favorite food Greek yogurt and he licked it clean, working at it for about 10 minutes, walked away, then went back to check to make sure he got it all. We worried that it might make his tongue sore on initial use but he doesn't seem to be bothered by it.I am a little disappointed in the size, I thought it would be a little bigger. I imagined putting his raw food for meals on it because sometimes he has an aversion to his dishes. (He's a shy, fearful boy) Also, be aware, the picture is misleading, you only get one; fortunately I knew that from reading reviews and product info. before ordering, but ininitially, from the picture I thought there were two.I am more disappointed in the fact that although it says Dishwasher Safe, when I ran it through the dishwasher this evening it curled up and now doesn't lay flat. My dishwasher doesn't have a dry cycle, either, so dry heat didn't cause it. I think the purpose of the mat won't be affected by the curling and I hope Lloyd won't be bothered by it, either, but because our boy seems to like it so well I'll hold off on a return or exchange to see if he will continue to like it as it now is.

My dog loves his LickiMat! Only problem is that he has licked or chewed off about 30% of the nubs. (Has had it about 6 months now.) Definitely keeps him occupied when spread with pb or dog butter. A friend in London recommended it. Took quite a long time to receive but would buy again. I think it shipped from the UK?

The media could not be loaded.  We purchased this mat as it was highly recommended by Zack George.Our puppy is not a big fan of it, and rarely licks food off it. We tried peanut butter and smoothies with yogurt and berries, and nothing works to make her lick it.So get one and see if this is something your dog likes.The product is a good quality, no strong silicone/rubber odor. Easy to wash. I recommend soaking it before wash.

My dog loves this mat and I love that it takes her longer to enjoy this than it does a Kong. There is plenty of surface area to keep a 80lb dog entertained for quite a while. As far as cleaning goes, I suggest a good soak or a stiff bristle brush.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is easy to clean - easy to use. I place various items on the mat such as wet dog food, peanut butter or homemade dog ice cream and freeze it. My Corgi will spend a good 10-15 minutes licking even long after the food items are gone. He is an aggressive eater and when he is licking the mat you can see the change in his body from rigid to relaxed as by the end he is sitting licking slowly or even laying beside it licking. I was hoping for something that he can use to self sooth and this delivers! Easy to clean and store. I highly recommend!

Very handy for anxiety and restlessness. It is sturdy, stays put on the floor and easy to clean. My dog is not in love with it yet, but it is helpful in the car and when I'm on phone or zoom calls. Keeps him busy and quiet.

This is my third mat. No, my dogs did not tear up their mats. We just got another dog and are so pleased with how soothing these mats are for our older dogs that we got one for the puppy! Easy to load with soft treat, easy to clean and so calming!

My dogs love this. Takes a little while to break this in and after that, peanut butter spreads very easily.

Heute kam die Matte an.Habe diese mit Frischkäse bestrichen.Unsere Beagel hat den Frischkäse abgeschleckt, dabei haben sich 7 Kl. Noppen von der Matte gelöstAnruf beim Tierarzt, wir mussten direkt vorbeikommen für eine "Spuckspritze"....Wir sind entsetzt wie sich von diesem Spielzeug Kleinteile lösen konnten. 0 Sterne ging leider nicht um diese Bewertung abzusenden .

Ja, ich weiß, die meisten Menschen kaufen dieses Teil für ihren Hund. Da aber meine Kinder immer und immer wieder alles mögliche Zeug abschlabbern, brauchte ich dringend etwas, um sie zu beschäftigen.Seit ich Leberwurst in dieses super Teil schmiere, ist Ruhe. Dafür riechen sie zwar jetzt nach Wurst, aber das ist zu verschmerzen.

Most of the dogs have simply loved this mat. Only one little tinker tried to tear it up. She only managed to take a little bit of the edge off so it doesn’t stop this mat being great at soothing and keeping them occupied. I’m trying to use it to help in amending adverse reactions to someone coming to the house and a strong territorial instinct.

Habe die Lickmat für unseren jungen Bordercollie gekauft. Die Matte wurde mit Leberwurst bestrichen. Habe die ersten 10 Minuten noch zugeschaut. Nach 23 Minuten wieder geprüft, da war schon ein viertel der Matte abgefressen!!! Hund hat sich dann im Laufe der Nacht mehrfach erbrochen und Stücke der Matte von sich gegeben!Absolut gefährlich und nicht zu empfehlen!
