Real PurityDeodorant

Over the past 10-15 years I have tried more 'natural' deodorants than I could ever count and never, never have I found anything that I have enjoyed using, that has been as effective and that I would 100% recommend as much this one. For me at least, it really is the very best deodorant I have ever tried, natural or otherwise.What works for me about this deodorant is...that it works! It is a deodorant as opposed to an anti-perspirant so it neutralises any odour rather than blocking and preventing perspiration. It definitely does prevent odour very, very effectively for me and it isn't just masking odours; it really does seem to be neutralising them. I am incredibly sensitive to fragrances in any form and there are few that I can tolerate at all. This deodorant does have a scent. Whilst I would class this as quite a strong, natural, unisex fragrance (think sandalwood, rosemary, geranium, lavender, sage) I find it quite pleasant, fresh and sophisticated. The fragrance dissipates after around half an hour or so, so even if you decide it isn't for you, you really don't smell it after this time. The effectiveness does not fade at all. I apply this first thing in the morning and never need to reapply, even in 30+ degrees heat.I am always concerned about possible skin reactions with any deodorant as I have diagnosed skin allergies and often react to essential oils as well as baking soda and a whole host of other ingredients. I have reacted to even the most benign-sounding, natural, supposedly kind-to-skin deodorant formulas. Not to this one! In spite of the essential oils, I have never had any reaction whatsoever, no itching, no redness, no dryness. I have absolutely no idea what kind of magic is in this stuff but whatever it is, it is worth every penny. Oh and that brings me on to the price......This may sound like quite a lot of money to pay for a deodorant but 1) I have actually paid much more for a deodorant (desperation does strange things to a person!) and found those other, more expensive deodorants either to be completely ineffective or to cause skin reactions or both, 2) you get a lot of product in this bottle and even after around 2 - 3 months of daily use, I have probably only used around 10% of the contents at most and 3) if I had just bought this deodorant years ago and saved on all of the cheaper deodorants I have bought while trying to find something that worked, I would have saved an absolute fortune. In essence, what I am saying is that this is absolutely worth the cost to me and my quest to find the perfect deodorant is over. This is deodorant perfection itself.

After talking with a friend I found out that body odour is not caused by sweating itself, but by the bacteria on the surface of your skin reacting with sweat. Looking into it more I found out:Anti-persiperants work by effectively clogging pores in your armpits (with aluminium) to reduce your sweating and the amount of bacteria that interacts with it, which doesn't sound great, especially as its blocking a natural process for the body to get rid of toxins as well as cool down.Skin in the armpit is some of the thinest skin on the body, so ideal for absorptionWomen who are recovering from breast cancer are advised not to use under-arm care that contains alumimium (and parabens)The yellow stains I would eventually get on my work shirts are not baked in sweat, but traces of aluminium left over from the anti-perispreant.It's advisable to use underarm care before going to bed.Armed with this I did look around at a lot of natural deodorants that wouldn't block sweat and that did not contain alminium and parabens. After trying at least 10 different ones, which either ranged from being ineffective and left me smelling myself before the end of the day, or causing skin irritation under the arms I found this one which, is a revelation and works so well.It's not cheap, but so effective! Easily lasts the day and often well into the next day and very natural ingredients. The smell is not something I would normally chose, but is pleasant enough and a small price to pay for such effective under arm care.Highly recommended.P.S.My advice is once applied, use two fingers to rub it into the skin and let it dry before dressing.

I tried at least 5 or 6 other brands but usually find that natural deodorant only masks the smell and don’t actually reduce sweating. This one works just as well for me as aluminium deodorants.

I have tried many brands of deodorant, each making promises to keep your underarms dry from anywhere from 24 to 48 hours, but each one failing in this claim. This brand, however, does indeed live up to its claim. You are left completely dry, and, what's more, it neither leaves yellow stains on white clothes, nor does it give off the typical, cheap "deodorant smell"; in fact, I find the odour very pleasant.As it is rather expensive, it would be nice for it to become better known worldwide and taken on by local stores. Getting it to Russia, where I live, makes it even more expensive with the delivery costs to ship it here and the longer wait.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality brand that does what it is supposed to.

It’s the best natural deodorant I’ve found by a long shot! I wish it wasn’t so expensive but I buy it anyways.

It works OK but the bottle and ball design is very poor, for example, when shaking it up, the product splashes out from the sides of the rollerball. In addition, when rolling it over the underarm, the product gathers all over the neck of the bottle, suggesting there needs to be a redesign

I’m so impressed with this product. I used to wear heavy duty aluminium deodorants as I often feel very hot and sweaty, but even then I felt they didn’t work well and I didn’t feel fresh by the end of the day. Now I find at the end of a hot day at work that I have zero odour. This product is expensive, but i think it’s definitely worth the money as it has given me confidence and I love the fact that it’s so natural. Will definitely be buying again.

This is the only natural deodorant that’s actually worked for me, I’m so impressed with this, it’s defo worth the money!!
