Awesome versatility between hole punchers.
I have 4 of these now for various Glocks with various lasers and lights attached. They were the only holsters I could find that would fit different brands and combinations. They have a GREAT Customer Service dept, as one had arrived with a small crack in a non critical area, and they shipped me a new one a day later. Told me to keep the old one, which I just ran a bit of superglue down and is perfectly functional as a backup. I have quite a few Orpaz holsters now. I would say the ONLY thing I don’t like about them is the mounting system is not compatible with other brands like Safariland or Blackhawk. Orpaz devices mount on a hirth joint (look it up), which is adjustable and versatile, but doesn’t work with other systems on the market. I ended up drilling some small holes and using heat set threaded inserts to be able to make mine to attach to a Safariland QLS plate so that they would be easily movable to my Safariland set ups on my belts. I was going to 3D print an adapter, and someone else may already have done that by now, but my approach seems to work fine for my setup. Love the holsters in every other aspect though.

Perfect fit!
I won a bid for a pic rail mounted flashlight and laser for my Springfield XD-45 with full frame and double stacked magazine. The light and laser worked great. However, now the gun no longer fit the factory holster. I looked everywhere and tried several brands and types of materials from other places and none of them worked. I almost had to cut ✂️ my pistol out of a couple of them, because the laser actually got stuck in the bottom. Finally, I decided to give the Orpaz T40 Duty Holster with Light Universal Holster for Gun with Laser Mounted Light and Optics a try. Projected delivery date was disappointing, claiming it would take a couple of weeks, but they surprised me by shortening it to a few days. It arrived well packaged and without any damage. The directions were clear and complete. But, I still managed to make one mistake. I did not read ahead about the magnet that holds the front of the barrel. The magnet is so strong that I had to use a lot of force to remove the pistol. I decided to remove the magnet and use the holster without it. Then, I read about the two supplied adhesive spacers. They keep the barrel from sticking so firmly to the barrel. Once I understood this, I reinstalled the magnet and continued to adjust the holster. Once I adjusted the width and the height the pistol rides in the holster, there was still a little wiggle movement around the laser. Orpaz thought of this as well. There is an adjustable ring that secures the front of your flashlight from movement along with the rest. I am a craftsman and a perfectionist. I expect a good product when I pay good money for it, and I was not at all disappointed with this holster. It does look somewhat large, until you realize that it absolutely has to be to accommodate a large frame pistol with big bulky optics mounted to the bottom. The thumb release is an added layer of protection which makes the operation of the holster almost a joy to use.

Quality Control issues
What's more aggravating than anything is this company has the ability to make a really good holster. However, whoever is handling their packaging and overseeing the manufacturing process of their holsters needs to be fired. Out of the five Orpaz holster I've tried, only one has been as it should be, and it's an excellent holster. The other four have been either missing parts, screws, or in this particular case, they didn't even thread all three holes for the screws to go into for the paddle/belt clip to attach to the holster. Again, if they could get someone to actually get their QC under control, this would be some great stuff. But, unless they make a serious change, I'm never buying Orpaz again. I've used many different holsters, professionally and as a hobby. This is ridiculous.

Honestly I like it, but..
I like it a lot, but it doesn't work with lights like the streamlight TLR1, and I'm not a huge fan of the"pull backwards and press downwards" function of the thumb release. If rather just have to only push down OR only pull back on the thumb release. Otherwise it's a cool holster that will fit with just about any firearm and light combo.

The Best Holster Ever!
I love this holster! I have one on my tactical belt, which is similar to what I wore while in patrol (retired law enforcement). My wife's Holster is also an Orpaz with their quick detach system. The quick detach system allows us to easily share our pistols, for problem solving and testing. I got my my daughter and three nephews Orpaz Holsters for their gun belts and they love them. When we all go shooting together, it is so easy to swap guns using their quick detach system, it is awesome. The thumb release is very natural when drawing the gun out. We all adjusted to it in one practice session. This Holster is fast! In patrol that can save your life, but now that I have it I don't necessarily need it. I wish I could have had this Holster in patrol. It has a passive retention and an active retention system, making this a Level II holster. The passive retention consists of a magnet at the bottom of the Holster, which holds the gun in place. The magnet is strong and locks the gun in, while making it about impossible to get the gun out. They give you round pads that you place over the magnet to set the level of strength that is needed to draw the gun. The active retention is a thumb pressure switch that releases a cam arm holding the gun in place, it just swings it to the side. Very efficient and easy. The light bearing Holster is customizable for your preferences. Just get this you won't regret it.

Truly universal
The holster and quick attachments for the holster to belt or vest are amazingSadly extended mag release coupled with a threaded barrel so I can have the lower stop installed cause my mag to release but once I got the longer bolt to use for lower stop it rides great and securely
