We got this to deal with a consistent humidity issue in one room of our home. Over the few months we've had the unit, it's worked well - dropping the humidity from the mid to high 60% range down to a consistent 40% to 45% while filling the catch tank about once a day.It's quiet enough for day time use without issue, but the sound is noticeable at night when we're sleeping. It's not loud, but you do hear it start and stop from time to time and the drone is a bit more than I like to sleep with. Still, it does a good job and keeps the room at a nice humidity.The catch tank is reasonably easy to pull out to empty, but does take some care to not spill. There is a removable lid on the top of the tank which helps but there's no really convenient way to carry the tank. While there is a continuous drain hose I've never had opportunity to use it.For the price, it's been great. No complaints. We're using it in a master bedroom space covering about 400 square feet, and taking a shower can raise the humidity substantially. This unit's been able to lower the humidity back down quickly and has kept the walk-in closet dry as well.

The Waykar 2000 Square foot Dehumidifier is a great product. It has beautiful white styling, it is very quiet, and is a real value at only $169.00. The unit is very efficient, and easily drops the humidity in our Florida Condo down to 50%...which makes a big difference in our comfort level in "hot humid Florida". It comes with a 2 year warranty after you register your product on-line. I recommend this dehumidifier to anyone living in a hot-humid climate, that wants to lower their humidity level significantly, at a very reasonable price.

Works good. It’s small and doesn’t take up much room. Easy to use, empty, and roll around to different spots. It is heavy, not easy to carry if you wanted to use on different floors of the house. It does make noise, like an air conditioner or loud refrigerator running, but not so loud it’s bothersome. Overall I am very happy with it.

I purchased this unit for a very small bedroom and it works perfectly. I noticed some people complained about the sound but i don't think its loud at all. its much quieter than my last larger unit. The only complaint i have is that the water reservoir is small but i suppose that's the way it is with a small unit.Also i found it easy to operate.

I have been running this now for a month. I like the functionalities; auto turn off when tank is full (not using the hose option), ability to adjust humidity setting and the different fan levels. The unit is very quiet and it does its job well. Doesn’t use a lot of energy, little affect on my utilities. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone. Easy to empty the tank when full. I haven’t had any problems with smells or leakages. Easy to clean and overall a great product.

This item is a great value compared to other products on the market. It has a compact design, works very well, and is easy to use. I like how smoothly it rolls when moving to different locations and has a very neat design. I am surprised how quietly it operates. I believe to is also has very efficient electric demands considering the space it is able to dehumidify. I did have a few minor questions about the unit, and their customer service was very responsive and quickly addressed my questions to my full satisfaction. I am very pleased with the unit and highly recommend for anyone that is wanted to dehumidify their basement or other damp space!

Works pretty well and seems to keep the humidity down according to my Honeywell Thermostat. The house seems cooler to me. However, I chose this one because the tank size seemed larger because I don’t have a way to use the drain hose. It says it needs emptied daily. I wasn’t prepared for that to mean 2-3 times a day. So on the one hand that’s great because it seems to be pulling a lot of moisture but on the other hand, it would be great if the tank was larger. It is fairly quiet, I don’t notice it running. I guess I’m going to need to figure out a way to use the hose. Updated: problem solved. Looks ugly on my counter but can run the hose to the sink.
