DEXIBELL exceeds the current standard of 16-bit and 44.1 KHz, the standard audio CD reproduction, with the use of higher definition, both in the “waveforms” format and also in the integrated circuit of the conversion from digital to analogue (DAC). 16-bit represents the audio in 65,356 levels, while 24-bit can represent it more widely in 16,777,216 levels, 256 times greater. The new 24-bit technology together with the 48 KHz sample rate has significantly improved both the frequency response and the dynamic range of audio, compared to all other digital pianos. At the heart of the DEXIBELL piano lies an incredibly powerful “Quad Core” processor capable of managing 320 digital oscillators. This huge number of oscillators allows for the simulation of all elements, sounds and noises which culminate to model the T2L sound. The increased polyphony used in Dexibell Pianos contributes to simulate the realistic responsiveness of a real acoustic piano through virtually unlimited polyphony. Throughout the range of DEXIBELL pianos, the recorded waveform length of each individual note is between 3 and 15 times higher than the equivalent products currently on the market. A low note on a DEXIBELL piano has an original waveform of 15 seconds. The current average is between 1 and 5 seconds. The result is astonishing realism and vitality of the harmonics through the evolution of the sound of the held notes.

A Game Changer has Arrived!
First I have to say that I haven't bought one of these yet - but i have spent extensive time on the dexibell website listening to the samples as well as watching YouTube reviews. I've been playing for 50+ years (this is how I earned my spending money in high school, college, and beyond) and I have purchased (and in some cases, returned) a number of products in this category. Short of a controller running virtual instruments, I've never heard anything as good as this in an all-in-one product (I haven't played the super-expensive Roland (I think) piano). And the price is so reasonable you may be left trying to figure out what's wrong with this (and all their other) product. If you find something, please let me know!Below are the reasons that I chose the title for this review.1. Dexibell uses *long* samples, as long as 15 seconds on the lowest piano notes, so you will likely never hit the loop-point of any piano sample. The pianos sound absolutely wonderful, and you get more than one set of piano samples to choose from.2. They give you control over piano sounds such as resonance, pedal-off noise, etc. (this is not new to the category).3. There are 320 oscillators, meaning you have 320-note polyphony, so it will be hard to run out of notes unless you're layering umpteen different samples. For the average gig where you might layer piano and strings, or maybe piano, a pad, and strings, you probably will never hear note-stealing. They advertise "unlimited polyphony", which isn't quite true, but it's pretty close.4. The quality of the other sounds besides piano are almost all of the highest quality you have heard in a stage piano (no, they aren't as good as East/West (soundsonline) Hollywood Strings for instance, but they are better than anything I've heard, short of, perhaps, some of the big sounds in a Korg Kronos. But the price of these Dexibell pianos are much lower than a Kronos.5. Dexibell offers a large line of product: 4 different stage pianos, one with 68 "light weighted" keys that weighs just 14 lbs and can run on batteries (plus a module if you have a controller you like - very smart!); 2 portable pianos (that is, keyboards with speakers built in); and a line of home pianos.6. They have a portable organ with motorized faders. I don't know much about this product.7. They have 1.5 Gigs of sample memory and can import Sound Font files. I hope they offer a RAM expansion in future.8. The number of digital effects, and the level of control over them, is incredible.9. Perhaps best of all, as far as I can tell, you can buy the least expensive product and you still get all the same sounds as the most expensive product! This is so forward-thinking and serves the buyers of their products superbly. No longer do you have to buy the biggest, heaviest stage piano to get that Steinway sound you wanted (or whatever sound you covet). No one will have to feel inferior just because they didn't have the bucks to buy the top-of-the-line product. While no stage or home piano can ever fully replicate the sound of an 8-foot concert grand piano (or a more modest Yamaha C5 grand in my case), I am extremely inclined to sell our C5 and buy one of these (probably a home piano model). Again, I have not sat down and played one so I can don't want to mislead anyone - but you can go to YouTube or other places and find glowing reviews. Highly recommended! (And no, I don't get a dime from Dexibell - I'm just truly excited.)
