This is a perfect set for family. Although I own a much nicer bat for competition, this is great for me to train my son spin techniques and fun with family. The poly ball plays like traditional celluloid ball. Unfortunately, my wife trampled a ball. We tested the broken ball with a lighter, nonflammable! Safe, safe, safe to my house. It is a good value for that type of effort., but for children or getting out with the family it works great. The bats are quality enough for me to play close to my competition play. Even if you are not a serious player these are far better than the junk bats most community tables have.

Family loves it! Good quality and no problems with balls or paddles falling apart.
