This one is great quality... finally. I used another brand before but it was very flimsy and seemed like I could have gotten it at the dollar store. I like this one much better because the neoprene or whatever material feels strong and more of a luxurious quality. I had to look at the box photo to make sure I was putting it on right but it is pretty simple for most. Some people might need to let their jaw adjust to a device like this by using for just a few hours the first night or two. It definitely holds your jaw in the proper position to prevent and minimize snoring. So far so good says the wifey :-)

I have 2 types of sleep apnea. I also have dry mouth which causes my lips to be extremely painful when I wake up because I sleep part of the night with my mouth open. Unfortunately I was extremely allergic to the silicone in the masks used for cpap machines even when using the protective disposable barriers available for sensitive people. The Dr. recommended a chin strap. I decided to try this one rather than wait and pay for a prescription medical device model. I am not a doctor and not making any medical claims. All I can say is my lips felt much better. My mouth was not dry when I woke up the first time I used it. The instructions say give it a week to get used to. I won’t be needed that in my case as the benefit was noticed the first morning. Also I am not allegic to the material. I can not speak to the soring issue. I sleep alone. This will be going with me every where from now on!

I tried another brand ("Very Cozy") with the same design but it irritated my chin for some reason. Both achieved their purpose but this one is not irritating. However, it stained a good pillow case dark blue even after washing the anti-snoring device twice. Not all of the blue in the pillow bleached out (using non-chlorinated Oxygen bleach) and it appears to be ruined, but I decided to keep the device.Another problem with it is that the upper strap is too short unless you have a small head. I am a 160 lb. male and consider my head size average for a man. With the straps, as I believe another reviewer noted, because the Velcro piece at the top does not completely fit over its matching piece, the Velcro hooks contact, and pull on, my hair. To rectify that, I wear the item inside out (with the name brand on the inside) and the hooks facing up.

My husband told me I began snoring after my pregnancy. I bought this product and used it for about a week. He now says that I stopped, so it’s definitely made a difference. I was skeptical at first, but now I am glad I gave it a shot. Would definitely recommend it.

Purchased this for a family member. Material is super flexible and comfy to wear. Doesn’t fit tight or wake you up at night. I am happy to say I had a restful sleep with only silence in the air.

it's a little too warm. But the worst problem is that the dye from the product comes off on the pillow case.

The only design flaw with this product is that the rough side of the velcro faces your head and yanks out a considerable amount of hair with each removal. To avoid future bald spots, I had to cover with felt. Otherwise the product is great. It doesn't take long to get used to, is comfortable and works well.

With this product, my "restful sleep" time went from an average of 6.5 hrs. /8 hours to 7.5 hrs. / 8 hr. period using my Polar sports watch to monitor sleep, and I do feel the difference! The first chin strap lasted about two months and I am getting ready to replace it. I already have bought one because I wanted to wash it before I use it so as to avoid staining my pillow covers (that is the only disadvantage I noticed). Maybe if they use white material (instead of black this won't happen).
