Mary of the Hurricanes
This is a very plain, yet beautiful statue. It has a bottom opening to add weight inside the statue. I originally purchased it 14 years ago from a store and placed it outside, facing a canal, in the Florida Keys. It survived 2005 hurricane Wilma, a CAT3 with a 3 ft surge. In 2017 hurricane Irma devasted the FL Keys. The mature palm tree behind the statue snapped about 6 inches above ground from the force of the storm. The statue remained standing. Everything was strewn all over. The two residences behind the statue were unharmed. Since Irma, the statue's hands are missing. It had a great run and remains where it was originally placed. Recently I purchased 3 more statues to give away.

Beautiful!
She is lovely! We filled our Madonna with sand for stability. She lightens up this corner of our property.

Lovely Blessed Mother statue in glowing white
I have this Blessed Mother statue in white. She’s beautiful in the bright sunshine and glows at night from some ground lights. She’s flanked by two different angels, and a big wide rock is behind to give more support from high winds.Being lightweight and hollow I filled the statue with gravel. She’s been outside in New Mexico for 5 years. With the high altitude and 105 to 25degrees the plastic broke near her feet after 3 years.SAND would have been better to fill the statue, instead of rocks. I’ve covered these holes with white rocks then pot of flowers for a few years, but will replace her.
