Beautiful Compass
This beautiful compass was exactly what I wanted for my cane, it arrived on time, and well packaged. My old one broke and I truly loved the cane I had for it. Glad I was able to replace it with this.

Foul
Honestly, the first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the horrendous smell. Just the act of cutting the tape released the odor and finding out what was wrapped in the bubble wrap in turn got it all over my hands.Item smelled as though it had been soaked in urine and attempting to clean it with chlorox wipes left lingering stains on the wipes. Took four tries to get the stink off my hands using half a bottle of soap.

Item not the same compass as in picture
Compass is silver not brass . And doesn't fit the brass know probably.

Function
I ordered the item Aug, 2022. It arrived Sept 23. The compass did not function so I tried to request a refund and the information for my order said the return window ended Sept 22, 2022 - the day before I actually received the compass. How can the return window end before the item is even received? I must add that after sending this review and submitting a request for help, I have received a full refund without any hassles. I am sorry the compass didn't function, but happy that Amazon backs up their guarantees.

Nice for a walking stick.
Surprisingly it's fairly accurate. It was a fun addition for a walking stick.

Very disappointed looks used
It is used. And has a Gouge in it. Very tarnished. I'm going to have to clean it up an awful lot to get it to look like the picture they have. And it took 2 months for it to get to me.

Very attractive compass for the head of a walking stick; unfortunately, the mounting is non-standard
This is almost exactly what I wanted, to replace the simple cap on the camera mounting stud at the top of my favorite walking stick. Imagine my disappointment when I found that the threaded hole in the bottom of the compass is larger than a standard camera mounting stud. I like it enough so I will find a workaround, but I’m still thinking about the best way to mount this without losing the camera mount.
