JCHENG IR Illuminator 4-Led Infrared Light for IR Camera, Quest Series and PSVR2 with Power Adapter

I use two to illuminate the front yard & a 3rd for the deck, works really well with my Axis camera systems, dawn dusk sensor is perfectly calibrated. The front ones are exposed to all weathers & have held up really well with no issues, although I did used adhesive lined heatshrink to seal the power cable joints just to ensure they remain watertight. All in all excellent value, the beam could be considered a little narrow but with only 4 emitters this is to be expected. If you need to cover a larger area consider a bigger unit, or multiples covering specific areas.

Works really well with my PSVR2, Only reason for not giving a higher star rating on value for money is the power cable could do with being longer and it gets warmer than I thought it would after about an hour of use, around 40°C.

I only use this for illuminating my play space at night when I'm using my Meta Quest 2 VR headset, I get perfect tracking in low-light. Would recommneded!

The unit I received was poorly put together and so returned.

Go these so I could use motion capture in the dark as the VR camers built into the headset can see the infared. It works perfect and had no issues with using my VR in the dark since I got this.

As stated by some other reviewers, doesnt really improve illumination over that given by Ip-cam leds. No real range improvement over say, 5 mtrs. If you want major light and range improvement go for the big 96 led lights - these just dont cut it.

Worked great for the first few months after I installed it. Then abruptly stopped working, and began tripping the power supply. We've had some foul weather the past few weeks, so I'm assuming it probably wasn't as weatherproofed as the advertising would have you believe. You get what you pay for I guess.

I share a room with my sister and bought this since sometimes I want to play VR (quest 2) at night when she is sleeping (and I can't turn the light on), it is great, it lights up a big part of my room, I had to buy two of this since I have it mounted in one of my walls and when I'm playing it acts as a flashlight, leaving a shadow of yourself behind you which can mess up tracking a little bit if your room is pitch black and you turn around to the direction of your shadow, so I installed the other one on the opposite wall illuminating my shadow which worked perfectly. The light itself doesn't give the Quest 2 trouble with controller tracking (since the controllers also track using IR light). If you are a VR player who may make good use out of this product I highly recommend it.

El producto dice que llega a 15 metros, pero no. Realmente solo da buena luz hasta 4-5 metros. A partir de esa distancia prácticamente no tiene fuerza y se ve casi oscuro del todo. Así que no es cierto decir que funciona como foco nocturno de Infrarrojos hasta 15 metros.

Erhellt sehr schön, wo das Infrarot meiner Dahua Cam etwas schwächelt. Abstrahlwinkel geschätzt ca. 90°. Ich habe zwei davon gegenläufig (einer nach links, einer nach rechts strahlend) montiert, um den Video-Bereich in der Distanz von 5m von oben optimal auszuleuchten. Die Stromversorgung habe ich übrigens über PoE Splitter am PoE Switch mit Y-Adapter am 12V Kabel gemacht. Alles kein Rocket Science, nur zusammen stecken. Perfekt und würde ich so wieder machen!

J'étais un peu septique mais ça fonctionne.. Avec une mini caméra espion de 2,5 cm cube, déjà équipé de 4 led(pas très puissantes), n'enregistrait rien dans le noir. Avec ce projecteur, on voit les led, mais le résultat est bluffant. J'ai une image ( rose, mauve) mais une image propre. Pas très loin pour ma petite caméra espion, mais certainement plus loin avec une vraie vision nocturne. La moindre source de lumière supplémentaire, même infime, apporte une meilleure portée.J'en suis très content..

Je corrige mon évaluation après avoir compris comment fonctionne le produit, ça n'est pas expliqué dans le manuel fournit mais il détecte la luminosité ambiante pour s'allumer quand il n'y à plus de lumière ou presque, une fois allumé on peut voir une forte lumière infrarouge, si forte qu'on la distingue même à l'oeil nu sur le projecteur! c'est un produit impressionnant en fait
