CERAKOTE® Ceramic Glass Coat Protectant - Hydrophobic Automotive Rain Repellant, Long-Lasting and Durable Ceramic Coating, Quick and Easy Application

I used this glass treatment and I was thinking this is going to be a lot of work. Wrong, I wore 9ml rubber gloves (the ones that comes in the kit, toss them out and use a better glove) and I did this in my garage. Use whatever glass cleaner you like and if you are going to do the front windshield I will tell you what I am going to do. The first windows I did was the side mirrors and the 4 doors on my 2023 FORD F-150 XLT PICKUP and once I did those I realized how easy this was going to be. I even did the back window as well. I am waiting for the 20 pack to get delivered (I bought the 4 pouch and I used 3 of them to do the side windows and the windshield on a 2017 HONDA PIONEER 1000-3 and the windows on my truck) so when it gets here this is what I will do to the windshield of the truck. I will re-wash it, dry it, then use the window cleaner I use and I will use a white non scratch pad to be sure that all of the bugs and whatever else is removed. Then use the spray cleaner again just to be sure it's as clean as possible and be sure it's completely dry. The put on my gloves and open the pouch and apply using the crossing applications, up and down across the window then side to side and be sure that you overlap each pass through the process and then wait for it to bead up, usually within 1 to 5 minutes depending upon the temperature around you. Then take a clean microfiber cloth and start wiping it off and then take another clean cloth and buff it. If done right, the windshield will be really slick to the touch. Allow at least 2 hours after you buff to cure and at least 24 hours before you wash or use your wipers and after all that you are good to go. The windows on my truck that I had done, l was satisfied during and after a rain shower that the rain didn't stick as it did before I applied it to the back and side windows. Can't wait to do the front windshield.

If you have a car that you have taken to the car wash and gotten the platinum or top of the line drive-thru wash then we are the problem. The top of the line drive-thru waxes everything including your windows. Over time the wax bakes into you windshield and the film starts. WE buy this product expecting to solve our problem but the bottom line is WE need to remove that wax build up on our windows THEN try this product. I used a de-greaser after I realized this product did not appear to help. I followed up with rubbing alcohol, washed my windows with Dawn then applied this product and got success . On my other cars and after hindsight, I simply used Dawn to remove the wax build up then applied this product and got success again. Oh, BTW, those of you that have that foggy look on cool moist days, use your defogger. Success will occur!

Applies easily and provides a good shine. Does not cover scratches or damaged paint. Much better applied to newer cars with better than average paint conditions. Does not correct damaged paint, so apply paint correction prior to applying this product. A good alternative to traditional ceramic coating but does not replace ceramic coated paint jobs long term.

As a professional car detailer this product was tested before applying it to the glass. The quality was superb. Glass look brighter with a clear coat appearance.

Looks great for a second. Not sure I saw much of a difference after the first wash a week later, from before I used the product. If you want to spend all the time applying it and like your car looking great for that day, then go for it. Not long lasting...

Hughly recommended. Makes your windshield shed water while driving in rain you barely have to use your wipers
