Shake and Rake 17 by 14 by 5-Inch Recyclable Plastic Manual Cat Litter Sifter, Bone

Used this for my rabbit with "https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002BDU8AG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_44". His poop pellets fell easily into the holes when I shook it! Now his paws are always clean. :)

I don't think most reviewers understand what this product is for. You dump dirty clumping litter from one litter box into another. It works great for this. You always need one extra empty litter box to use it. It works perfectly as designed but I'm deducting a star because the plastic is brittle. I have had one for 5 years. I'm buying a new one because it cracked right away, and the crack has spread.

I bought this to replace a litter sifter I have had for 10 + years. I am not as pleased with this product as the holes, while cute little paw prints, are to large and let small pieces of feces through. The suggested use is not very practical. I have an extra litter pan that I put the sifter in, pour the used litter into the sifter then shake it gently while lifting it. I do not leave it in the bottom of the currently in use litter pan.

I tried this with my foster kittens. I was having to scoop the litter 2-3 times per day and was looking for an easier, less stinky way to get the chore done. I looked at the self-cleaning litter boxes or ones that had a scoop tray built in, but was hesitant to buy them with their reviews, so I tried this cheaper option. This was effective, but much better suited for one or two cats/kittens. Once you pull the product up, it does catch all the pee and poop collected in clumping litter, but you have to wiggle it down through the litter (or empty the litter entirely and pour litter over it). So, for my needs, it wasn't as helpful as I hoped.

I bought 2 of these with high hopes of making cleaning the litter faster and easier. Not so much. The litter and waste sticks to it and it makes a mess sifting,doesn't fit most litter boxes.
