Accidentally cut the wire of my lawn mower. Easy to wire, but a is a bit cheap and plasticy, the two parts don't stay together if you accidentally pull them, i solved this by taping the two parts together across the joint with electrical tape. But it fixed my wire, and my lawn mower now works again, so can't complain.

Mower cable partially severed. Bought this product and neighbour (competent DIYer) fitted for me. I feel bad it took him long time and he did comment it would have been helpful if you'd included some instructions. Finally he'd finished and commented it was tight fitting and he doubted I'd be able to undo it. I proceeded to mow grass while weather OK. Suddenly mower stopped and when I turned to look - connector had come apart - so I had to plug it together again. Having read some previous reviews, I see I'm not the only one to have had this experience.

This device arrived quickly was easy to fit and works perfectly. I bought it to repair a broken cable and enable separate storage of a machine. Job done

fell apart in my hand,screws were almost impossible to remove quality well affedcted by the price!

Product is not foolproof. Even when wired correctly you can plug the connector either way ie the live will be connected to the neutral as well as live to live. Most connectors will only plug together one way. The two halfs of the product do not lock together so disconnection is very easy. The only way out was to take the joint so that it won't come apart once correctly connected.
