The bottle was taped closed around the cap, and it was well packed in a box with packing material to pad it.Price was considerably cheaper than in grocery stores, even cheaper than the old standby - Wally Mart! Best detergent for colors. Smell is not too strong, but makes clothes smell fresh. Do not need a large amount in each load and dissolves easily. This is great for uniforms.

I turn my dark clothes inside out, wash on the cool cycle and use this to eliminate color fade. It definitely seems to help
