These for me are a total game changer for my weekly swims. I normally swim for 1 hour and it gets boring doing front crawl and staring at the tiles in the floor of the pool for 6 hours per week bored out of my skull.Enter the Shokz, now this is where it's at! load up your MP3's you have stored on your drive from years ago as we have now been used to Apple music and Spotify, put some MP3 playlists on and away you go, this takes the boredom out of your swim, I do 100 lengths of a 25m pool per swim 6 times per week but I have been clocking up 120 lengths plus on occasion as reminiscing about years gone by from playlists I don't realise how much time has gone by.Once I've finished I go for a steam or spa and switch to audible from my Apple Watch to listen to my current audible book, absolutely brilliant.Quality of sound is not as good as your Apple Ear pods etc, but for underwater, these are about as good as it gets, and I've tried the cheaper alternatives so believe me these are the best, you'll be suprised how good these things are.I can honestly say, this has been the best purchase in a long time in terms of usage, these things are used a lot and as such I decided to protect them with insurance against accidental damage that Amazon offer during the checkout, A first for me and worth it if I happen to break them somehow.If you are a swimmer and have MP3's on your drive then get these, the price is worth it.

Absolutely superb.Received these yesterday and took to the pool tonight. The sound under the water blew me away. I expected it to be muffled but when submerged they actually worked better. My routine of 100 lengths of 25 metres seemed to pass much quicker than usual, even though it took the same amount of time as usual. Swimming lengths can be seriously boring, but get the banging tunes going and the time flies by.They also stay put the entire time and you barely even feel like you have them on. I recommemd these 100%. Not the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for.

These are best on the market at the moment and have radically improved my long pool swims. The sound quality is clear and they do exactly what I hoped they would do. The only downside is the admin of locating, downloading and organising MP3s to listen to - much lower availability that there used to be! Important to be aware that the Bluetooth doesn’t work in the water - just MP3 format - but that is no different with other providers. Great product that stays put and works well.

Product is second to none

I found these headphones to be surprisingly good. I only use them for swimming and haven't tried them for running. On first use (in my house), I thought the sound was quite 'tinny', but once you actually get into the water and your ear canals fill with water, the sound is somehow transformed. The sound isn't quite as good as a pair of in-ear headphones, but I think is as good as can be expected for use in and under water...and is certainly good enough for an hour's swimming.Other reviews have noted frustrations about the mp3 player (can't download itunes, can't rearrange play orders or create playlists). I found these frustrations to be correct. However, the block on itunes is to protect the artists' copyrights (understandable) and I have created a workaround for the play list problem - I simply create a playlist of mp3 files on my hard drive, and then load that playlist (and only that play list) into the headphones for use in the pool. The workaround needs a bit of set up time, and a bit of fiddling around each time you want to change a playlist, but it works and is good enough for pool sessions.

I thought this was amazing, I purchased it and received it within a week. I’ve swam with it using both Bluetooth and mp3 and both worked really well. The Bluetooth started to cut out but that was because of the range of Bluetooth. The mp3 function is better but very basic in terms of control. I thought I had finally found a good pair of “headphones” for swimming and general workouts.I’ve used it for the last 3 days and within those 3 days I’ve used it twice for swimming in an indoor pool. Alll has worked well until just now when I have turned it on and it’s just gone crazy, the volume is turning itself down, it’s switching between various modes and function and disconnecting from my phone all together. Doesn’t seem like it has survived two swims. I’m returning it tomorrow!!!

i use these in the pool, linked to my ipad on the pool siding. Links up fine even under water (just dont go too deep otherwise it goes intermittent). Alot of bass when under water. Love them!!
