Bought these for one of those tiny incremental aero gains that you can try and make to your bike for little improvements here and there. Run them on my race bike. Data suggests they can save you a whole Watt. Aside from that, I think they look really clean on the bike - no sticking out levers, and as you have to use an allen key to remove them, they might offer a slightly more theft-resistant deterrent to any would-be passing opportunist bicycle wheel thief. No idea on the weight, but to be honest, there's not much weight to be lost on a skewer anyway.Either way, a nice little upgrade to my bike.

Bought these to replace the easy release skewers on my Cannondale. The halos are excellent quality were super easy to install (front and back) without reading the instructions. These will never stop your wheels from being stolen, but will add crucial time to a would-be thief's efforts. Highly recommended.

Bought one of these for my son's mountain bike to take to school. It was easy to fit but we're finding that very few days the one on the front wheels comes loose which is obviously pretty dangerous. I've tightened it as much as I dare but I think I'll get something else.

Easily fitted and look better than standard QR's

metal is soft on tightening nuts, cheap product with a logo on it , for the price they should be ashamed. I couldnt even use them because when I tightened them the hex turned the hex hole and as I said the nuts are soft too. Expensive crap.
